Nope, Never, Never, Never. I don't even leave my 9 and 7 year olds alone (old enough to get out) to run DD14 to a friends nearby. Call me paranoid,I don't mind. I'd rather be paranoid then broken-hearted!!!

I know, right! I may be overprotective compared to some other parents, but they are my babies (no matter what the age) and it is my responsibility to protect and teach them, not play risk with their lives.

This might have already posted already but ......I read another article where she has 3 sets of twins already between the ages of 2-7 and lives with her mom. Her mom is upset with her for having more kids. At first she was told to stop supporting her but couldn't just kick her out. Now, she says her daugther will be on her mom.

I know it is a huge medi blitz, but IMHO NO ONE should pay this woman for anything. It is one thing if this was natural or even fewer Embryos emplanted with identical twins in a few sacs, but this was irresponsible on her part (for her current children and babies) and the DR. If anyone needs to be on Oprah its the Dr/clinic that did this and let s/he/them start answering some questions. HE clearly put this woman's life at risk as well as the babies. I believe another poster commented/asked if it could be that the conception happened in another country. This sould be a great example of what NOT to do! I have no sympathy for this mother, only for all 14 children!

Experts said this could be possible since Nayda Suleman's system has likely been hyperstimulated for years with fertilization treatments and drugs."
Another interesting fact - Forty-six physicians and staff assisted in the deliveries. They are estimating that it will have cost upwards of $3 million by the time the babies can come home from the hospital. Yikes!!

Knowing that the Dr(s) knew that there was a good chance of them splitting that makes it even worse! Does she realize that America is not saying, "O, the poor lady now she has all these children to take care of." They are saying, "you did this to yourself and the only ones hurting are the children (and the tax payers who *could* have to "help" out)." If this woman has any hope in getting the public on "her side" it would be to say how many embryos were implanted and the circumstances behind it. There are many angles to this story...I think it would be in her best intrest to honestly and not for millions set the story straight...then if she wants to give the gory details sell that story (or her children's privacy). Out of anyone the Dr(s) need to be exposed and start answering some questions, not by Oprah, but by a medical review committee.

I've heard this rumor before. It's not true.

Give it enough time and I think it could become true. Esp. if she thinks it will help keep the show going. She has already said she would like to adopt so whats to stop her from changing her mind and having another herself. They still keep making comments about how they would like to know what its like to have only one baby at a time.

Time shall tell.

Personally I would go crazy with 2 kids at a time much less 8. My son is enough of a handfull right now.

I know a few families that were told they could not have children the "old fashion" way, adopted, and then were again blessed without the need of adoption or medical intervention.

Did anyone watch the show last night? They moved into their new home and guess what "a new refrigerator". Don't know why she spent 4 hours cleaning the old one. Also they did a magazine article recently I believe someone posted the link in this thread somewhere. They both said they want to adopt a baby girl from Korea. Don't exactly know why another girl, they only have 3 boys and they have 5 girls. But Kate seems to connect more with the girls than the boys. Did anyone notice the one on one days with each kid. Kate & Jon both went on every girl trip. But only Jon went with the boy's on their day.

My dd14 saw that and came running out to tell me, she was laughing so hard she couldn't even get it out!

And no need to falme, I don't wish them that. I alway wish a happy marriage with mom and dad for the kids sake, but it is funny all the same...

I thought that was sad too. I know they would say it was hard to get away but if you do it for some, you should do it for all. back then Jodi was watching the kids and I am sure she would have done it for all of them.

Yep, true or not it is sad.

So the mom of the octuplets has an agent, she was on TV this morning. She didn't say much though, I guess you can't say much if you plan to sell the story. She did say it was a doctor in the US which i know there was some speculation that maybe it wasn't. I hate that I find it interesting, but I have to admit I do. It's another "train wreck" thing, you know. Wish you could look away but you just can't. I just can't imagine thoe poor kids, all of them. I hear the babies are doing well though, and that is great.
