Just found out yesterday my DD made the school softball team
I just wanted to share because this is something she wanted soooo much. She has been playing in recreational leagues since 4th grade and just made the 7th-8th grade at the middle school (she is in 7th). Her two best friends ski and ice skate and the girls talk about their sports all the time (in a good way). Now DD gets to join in on the "sport talk" as she calls it.
This is also a great self-esteem upper for her. She keeps trying out for solos in choir and never gets them. Teacher keeps saying she has a great voice and if anyone can't make a concert she gets the solo but never happens.
