OT: Hen Night in Moncton/Shediac?

So, little backstory: My sister is getting married in Dieppe/Shediac/Moncton August 18th. We will be there for the week before and would like to take her out for some drinks and fun, likely the Thursday before the wedding. None of us live on the East Coast (me Toronto, sister#1 Sudbury, sister #2-the bride- Vancouver) and I have never been to the East Coast. So, I googled nightlife in Shediac and it is a bit grim. I then did the same for Moncton, and it is looking pretty barren as well - not to mention 2 of the OK looking places are closed on Thursdays.

So.....my question to the friendly East Coast DISrs is - are there any cool/fun places in Moncton or Shediac to have a few drinks and some fun for my sister's hen night. We are all 30+yo..so a bunch of 20 yos is not really our scene. We are not planning anything big and crazy, but would like a fun and laid back atmosphere. So....any ideas??

I'm not from there but I have been there many times.

GOOD LUCK!!! It's really quiet in that area. I'm guessing that the groom is from there? Try to hook up with some of the local family and have a house party. That's what they do best. Lots of loud music and beer. You'll have a blast.

BTW, the beach at Shediac is beautiful and you won't find nicer people anywhere.

Hi There...not from that area either, but do have a good friend who is!
She is actually there for the weekend visiting family. I can check with her and find out what kind of options are out there.

Are you talking about a big crowd?? If not, maybe renting a limo for the evening and doing an adults version of a scavenger hunt might be fun....lots of possiblities there! It can be wild or G rated. Whatever suits.

I'll let you know what I find out when she gets back.

I am here...There is a place in Shediac that does Karaokee and some night life called Captain Dan's
