We're having a Halloween/Birthday party for our DS10 and we're looking for activities to keep 10 year old boys entertained. They're wearing costumes, we're making a giant eyeball cake, I'm making punch with ice shaped like spooky hands...

What else should we do?!?!?

Thanks!

I'm going through the same thing here. But I have to keep 3 age groups entertained! What was I thinking? My kids are 13, 11 and 8.

So far, they want to do
1. the "Mummy Wrap" with toilet paper. (Break the kids in teams and they wrap one kid on each team with toilet paper. First team to finish wins.)

2. Find the candy corn in the whipped cream plate. Like a pie eating contest.

3. Donuts on a string.

4. Bathing cap toss: 2 teams, one kid from each team wears a shower cap that is covered in shaving cream. The other kids toss candy corns onto the cap. At the end of 2 minutes the team with more on their cap wins.

You could also do a pinata. Kids love that. I will probably have too many kids for that.

I'm hoping it's nice because they really want to play flashlight hide and seek and have a campfire.

Have a great time. Hope this gives you some ideas.

Thanks for the ideas! I love the "messy" game ideas. The kids would love them too. But they're wearing costumes and the party is the night before Halloween - I don't want to ruin any costumes. Maybe I can ask the parents to have them wear and old t-shirt under the costume, or bring one to change in to.

I had cut out construction paper bats (in different colors) and put them all over our front lawn , when it got dark we sent teams of 2 kids with their legs tied together, a flashlight and a bag, to see which team could collect the most bats......harder than you think bcse you have to coordinate walking together w/ using the light and picking them up.....everyone had a great time...AND no kids or bats were hurt in this instance!!!!!!!

Here are my recommendations:

FOOD

I recommend the hotdog mummies...buy the crescent rolls and wrap them around the weiners and bake for a while...these are awesome.

I also have used the green Hawaiin Punch and placed frozen ghosts with worms in them as the ice to keep the punch cold. I place it into a black cauldron.

GAMES

Hot pumpkin like hot potato
Sack race
Limbo
