I was wondering how long it would take until you all realized I was missing. Obviously I can't check in much these days.

It's a long story (thought I was in real labor last Saturday, went to the hospital, resident OB said I was, got admitted, hours later my real OB said I wasn't, but they induced since I was there, not long after Baby Girl arrived), but our daughter was born 18 days early. And did I mention I can't get an epidural? Pitocin makes me go really fast, so the last hour or two was horrible. But I'm glad it's over.

We came home on Tuesday, and are doing great! Still getting in to some kind of routine. I thought Evan was a good baby. This one (knock on wood) is even better! She's already gained back her birth weight, and really only fuses for diaper changes and baths. I don't know how long this good fortune will last! LOL! I keep saying she made me suffer enough for about 32 weeks.

Thanks! The outfit is a newborn-size outfit (fleece jacket and knit pants), but she swims in it.

I remember with my dd Chloe I had major heart burn and everyone kept telling me she would have lots of hair. She came out practically bald!!

Pitocin had the same effect on me when my DD was born but I was still lucky enough to get an epidural. Only, I had to go home with a cathater (sp?) because she arrived in about 4-5 pushes.

Thanks, everyone! We think she's a sweetie (I've called her my princess from Day 1 ), and she's been a very good baby so far. Evan adores his little sister. I'm surprised how quickly and easily he took to her. Our problem is he constantly wants to touch her hands/cheek/hair/etc. and give her smooches. He knows to be gentle, but isn't always aware of what he's doing around her (and that sometimes it's better to just leave her alone).
