OT Good Sam?

So my wife wants to join Good Sam are any of the Fort folks on here members of this service and if so how do you find it works for you I am looking for good and bad reviews so I can decide if it is actually worth spending the money.

Depends. If you do a lot of camping, many GS parks give at least a 10% discount. Memberships are about 27 Dollars a year. 4 nights at a 30 Dollar a night campground almost saves you half that membership. Best to go to their website and make an informed decision. There are other benefits. I'm a member and it works for me...with others it may vary.

I'm a Life member and have been very happy with the service. There are many other benefits to membership besides the discounts. Check the website for complete details. I am also a member of FMCA which is for motorhome owners.

Well the only reason she is looking at this is for the trip to Disney next Oct to camp with the ids. She wants to stop in South Carolina and camp for one night then in GA to camp for a night and she apparently gets a free night camping at a GS affiliated campground. Can anyone share some decent campgrounds that are good Sam affiliates etc in South Carolina and GA?
