Personally I'd look at WDW for a honeymoon rather than DLRP simply because I feel that the £1,500 for the DLH (as much as I'd love to stay there, especially for a special occasion) just can't compete with the £2,300 for a two week holiday.

Just my opinion though

Mmm, me too.

I now you said about sentimental value Bob, but you could make a whole new sentimental trip by visiting WDW for your HM.

Plus I really think you will get much more of a fuss made of you at WDW :P

Haha, she must have run out of £1s

Looking at WDW holidays,

2 weeks with free dining plan, including vrgin flights and car hire, and park tickets £2300.

Not too bad, eh? Now I jsut need spend the weekend gently convincing jack.

Thats not bad... when are you looking at going? We're looking at about £1400 each but we'd be paying for dining.

meant to say - he thought at first hed swallowed it, and was distraught, so we told him we wud write to the tooth fairy and explain.... he then asked how it wud then get out of his tummy - so we kinda explained it wud 'come out' when he went to the toilet.....
he looked rather thoughtful as he said.... but mummy, it will be all dirty..... you'll have to wash it!!!!!!!:lmao:
i said not in a million years was i going to 'hunt' for it, let alone wash it!!:rotfl:

The fairies have Pixie dust to get it and clean it, that is what I told DD. ;)

It was her Dad who set the £5 a tooth, I think £1-£2 is a nice amount.

oh I think POFQ would make a lovely resort for a honeymoon, we stayed at Port Orleans Riverside last year and both resorts would be a very romantic setting. There is also some amazing restaurants at WDW for romantic meals.

I'd like to stay at Port Orleans but my bf wants to go for Coronado Springs... I guess the only way to settle it is to stay at AKL :rotfl:... I wish!!

Another main factor in only going for a few nights to the DLH is that I know we will definately enjoy it (Which is my prime concern, and another reason I don't want to try somewhere new) and plus because I know the place better I think we'd have a more laid back trip. Plus, if we were only there a few nights we could spoil ourselves as far as dining, etc was concerned. I think overall I'd rather have a more laid back, indlugent Disneymoon. I know it wouldn't be as long a trip, but.....

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to try WDW one day, it just doesn't have as much appeal to me as DLRP. Plus, it seems a bit more of a military campaign to organise....

LOL military campaign .....I also think two weeks might cost £2300 BUT thats just to book it... you've then got spending money, insurance etc which compared to DLRP it is going to be alot more...

Exactly..... Plus, I know we'd enjoy DLRP, whilst I'm still a bit :confused3 about WDW....

Yeah, we can pencil in the date in nov 2009, and jack wants to see the locations and flowers and cakes before we completely commit to it as our wedding.

More trips for me!!

I think then you have a planning trip 8 months out too, but that would just be a short one probably. :)

LOL WDW makes me feel like that... theres too much to think about...You'll have a wonderful honeymoon everywhere you are...as long as theres you and Robert what else could you want :lovestruc

I love the look of AKL, but it looks a bit far from the other 3 parks and DTD....

It does but then so do the Mod/value hotels, i dont think it really matters tho...I love AKL it by far my fav hotel :cloud9:

Will come round quick though!!

Kyra will be SO grown up by then too!!! And a perfect age for BBB!!!

Well I want to take her when she is 6 as she will be able to do Discovery cove aswell :goodvibes

Hopefully we wont need to make a trip to visit Spongebob Squarepants:lmao: I don't want to do Universal at all.

I think 6 is probably about the right age.

That would mean I can book our family trip for March 2015 :woohoo:
