Wondering what folks use to find a good campground. We have a Woodall's but it's sort of like reading the yellow pages. Any good suggestions?

If you are an AAA member their website (AAA.com) is excellent. I use it to make my own triptik and one option will show you campgrounds on the portion of the map you are looking at, if you are zoomed in close enough. This is really helpful if you know where you want to be on your route at the end of the day. Simply zoom in on that area and all the campgrounds will pop up with AAA's rating and amenities and pricing info.
If you are just wanting a campground and don't care where it is this might not be of much help.

I have a Trailer Life Directory that I upgrade every few years. I first check there first because they have good maps in the front and a really good rating system. Then I check the AAA site on the internet. Then I try to find a web site for the place you are going like a Chamber of Commerce.

Hope this helps!

we use a lot of different resources but yahoo map work well for us it gives you the location of the campground ,a rating of it and the website

AAA, word of mouth, Yahoo, and this forum. I found our last camping destination (Stone Mountain Park, Georgia) on the recommendation of a fellow DISer. :goodvibes

I use reserve america, or the koa sites. I don't necessarely book with them, but this way I know where campgrounds are. I also will look at state home pages for the heads up as well:yay: .
