I'm hoping someone can help my brother. He and his DW have 3 children, and they're looking for a nice tropical resort where they can bring their 3 children (all between 5 and 10), and stay without paying through the nose. Does anyone know of a place that will accomodate 3 kids easily?

TIA,
Morticia.

I would try Cypress Pointe. We are staying there in March for $70.00 a night for a 2 bedroom. If you do a search you will find tons of information on it. The best price is at www.hotelkingdom.com :earsgirl:

My apologies. I should have been more clear, this time they are looking to vacation in the Caribbean at an all-inclusive resort. They just haven't been able to find one that doesn't want to charge them for 3 adults and 2 kids.

Thank you,
Morticia.

I've been doing some research myself. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids, under 10. So if I come across anything I'll let you know. I've been looking at Mexico, but not too sure because of the funky tummy we may all get!!! Then again it could happen in the Caribbean as well. I've thought about Cuba as well. It might be best to get someone like Sears Travel or an agent to source it out for them.

We've gone to Maui, Hawaii twice. Both times we've rented a 2 bedroom condo. We were right across the street from the beach and within a 10-15 minute drive to many other nice beaches. We've done 2 cruises as a family, and have booked 2 rooms each time. The first 2 kids were charged adult rates. We booked inside cabins to keep the costs reasonable.

I've looked at some of the all-inclusives and having that third kid sure throws a wrench into things.

I sure know what it feels like. Our 3rd DS is 11 months and I doubt we will be going to the Caribbean again. I can't find any accomodations for our family of 5.

One of the tour operators - Sunquest think - has specifically marked resorts that allow families of 5.

I was at one of their presentations last week. Unfortunately then I went out of town, and will have to search through my materials to find their brochures.

ETA: Found it. Not Sunquest, World of Vacations. On page 8 of their Western Canada brochure (I'm sure there's a page in their other brochures as well) there's a Family Vacations grid, and a column for "Family of 5". However I have just noticed that all the ones listed are in Mexico.
