I am probably overthinking but i have a group that has different priorities but also has 1 common goal.
Currently planning booking a later breakfast at O’Hana (say around 10 for 8) then head over to MK for appointments at BBB (4 girls - 2 totally princess makeovers dress everything, 2 just make up and hair) if I try for 12:30 do you think we will totally be done with BBB and pictures to find a decent spot for the 3 oclock parade?
Also does everyone that does BBB get the pictures or is it just with the princess package (I have memory maker).

O'hana notriously runs late for check-ins. If everything goes perfect...seated at 10, finish around 1115, walk to monorail, board monorail and get to magic kingdom around 11:45 would be best case scenario. If they aren't seated right away, or it takes a little longer for characters to get around, they may be very tight for time for 12:30.

12:30 should be fine to get to the parade at 3. The full ensemble will take about 90 minutes, my niece was done in about 45 minutes just doing hair and makeup. If you have Memory Maker, you will be able to get all of their pictures added to your app, assuming you're all linked as family and friends.

Also I am hoping this is for like at least day 4 of their trip. BBB is typically sold out 2-3 days into a trip when the 60 day+10 window opens. It can be hard to get 1 reservation in the first 3 days of a trip, let alone 4. If this is towards the back end of their trip, I think it's doable, but I might try and get O'Hana a little earlier for peace of mind.

One other thing, you may have to book them 1 at a time. It will let you reserve up to 6 at a time in the system, but oftentimes I have to reduce the number of people I'm booking for down to 2 or even 1 person to get timeslots to populate as there may not be enough for all 4 of them at the same time.

A 10:00AM 'Ohana reservation could be tight for 12:30 BBB reservations. You may wish to try for an earlier 'Ohana ADR just to be on the safe side.

Actually we are planning on doing this on day 5 of the trip so hopefully that will help. I guess will try for 9 for breakfast reservations. Do you have to get your BBB pictures done right after your makeover? Could we get pictures between parade and dining at the Castle?

Day 5 is perfect assuming staying on site, shouldn't run into any issues getting O'Hana or BBB then.

As for the pictures, they take them the whole time and then immediately following for the "reveal." Pictures won't slow you down.

About the pictures - the last time I was involved in booking BBB was about 10 years ago but we had to do it at the World of Disney Store in Springs and after the makeover you went to photopass place at Guest Relations and they did a studio type portrait package - do you not get a portrait like sitting of the makeover afterwards? Just pictures during the experience?

A friend wants to get BBB on 4/20 in the morning. She has a resort booking beginning 4/8 until 4/24. It won't l her book anything after 4/18. BBB is the most important reservation and I don't know how to help her. Anyone know why her booking wouldn't open? It is 60 +10, correct?

She can only book through the 18th with the 60+10 window. ETA (60 days prior to check-in + 10 days of stay)

ETA: I can't math! It should be open....unless it hasn't dropped? Or does she have a second check in day?

This happened 2 weeks ago to me while helping a friend who had an 11 night stay. Dining opened up all the way through their 10th day, but BBB only was opened 8 days into their 10 day window. It eventually opened up 3 days later for them. I'd just keep checking each morning. Ended up being a non-issue as they wanted it for day 9 of their trip and every timeslot was available when it finally loaded.

Unless they want to go and do the studio session afterwards. That takes more time.

Also- no pictures are actually included in the packages. They will take them, but you have to have memory maker or buy them individually to get them.

yes...maybe my mistake for assuming they would realize you need memory maker to actually get the pictures without a watermark. They have an hour and 45 minutes to get through BBB/pictures and that leaves them 45 minutes to get a decent spot for the parade. Plenty of time in my opinion, thats without factoring in that the 2 not doing the full setup will be done in an hour or so and the adult with them can go down and start holding parade spots when they finish.
