Help! DH is a principal and someone has set up a fake FB account for him (and also another principal in the district). The material is slanderous and could easily become problematic. I have reported the profiles as "fake" on the pretend profiles, but is there something else we can do?????

Thanks!

This same thing happened at our school with different teachers. The administration was in contact with Facebook. They also called an all school assembly and explained what could/would happen if the accounts were not closed and removed from Facebook by the end of the day. They were gone before the assembly had ended. (Not sure how this could happen without computers and cell phones not being allowed):confused3

How do you contact Facebook though? I can't really find any phone numbers. We have internet issues covered in our student handbook/rules, so if the students are caught they will be severely punished, we just need to find them!

you contact them through the website. I know there is a contact link, but its location moves with updates and I'm not sure where it can be found right now. I'd try to find it for you but can't access FB from work.

Not sure if it will help but here is a phone number for Facebook customer service: 650-543-4800
