I am a stained glass artisan. This is one of my latest pieces, done in Pride Flag colors? It measures about 4". The clear areas in-between the knots are done in a clear hammered glass. What do you all think of it?

Very pretty and very relational!

Very cool! I never would have thought to put our colors in a trinity knot. I took a stained class course a few years ago and did a window for my parents but haven't gotten back to it since then. I would love to see some of your other work.

What a beautiful Trinity! It's so Celtic. I've got such a long Irish history in my family, and Celtic symbols are so pretty. ^_^ Lovin' the rainbow, of course

Thank you. I agree with the relational thought. I have a celtic knot (much more detailed) tattoo on my leg. It is after all the celtic symbol of life and just like life it is intertwined (sp). It just so happened to have six main pieces, so I said "self this would look good in pride colors" and I made it. I also make it a little larger about 6".

Thank you. I am working on updating my online portfolio* I am out of commission today, as I am laid up with a bad neck. I specialize in pride, celtic, candle shelters and food related designs. I took a glass about 10 years ago. And just recently started up again. With eBay tanking, I had to diversify my business so I went down the glass road. I may take some booth space at PRIDE events, and a couple of retail locations have contacted me for wholesale pieces. I also have a few commishioned pieces I am working on.

Celtic symbols are incredible to work with. It was so funny when I got my Tat, to see a bunch of hard core biker types ohhing and ahhing over a celtic design book. I also do Irish flags, and a crest, and other knots.

*Since my online portfolio is based for sales, I don't think I can post the link here for it. Mods please correct me if wrong. So I will post pixs here and there to update this post.

You are indeed correct, nothing promotional (nothing charitable either without Pete's explicit permission).

very nice! I like it on all counts. It's Celtic, it's got our colors, and it's stained glass! Thanks for sharing it with us.

OMG, my partner has that tattoo'ed on the upper part of her left arm. It was one of her first tats. It looks really nice in stained glass. We have that same design done in stained glass, but in all green that Gabby brought back from her trip to Ireland with her mom a couple of years ago.

Nice work. :thumbsup2 Maggie

Edited to add that my charity link below was approved by Pete a long time ago.

I finished and photographed a few more pieces. Well actually...I got a new camera today and wanted to see how it photographs my work. The piece on the left is called Pride Cat, the middle is an Irish Crest, and on the right is based roughly on a piece of stained glass I saw at the Yacht or Beach Club. Over the weekend, I will be finishing a commishioned piece, that is the name Miki (nickname for Michelle) done in pride rainbow like the cat. The crest has silver toned solder like the cat, and the rose panel has a soft black patina on the solder.

What a beautiful rose. And the cat is so cute, hehe. I love the Irish Shield. :)

This is a commished piece I finished today;) . It hadn't been polished yet and the sun was harsh today to photograph. It is in the same glass as the Pride Cat. The inside of the M looks a little off due to the position it was photographed in.
