OT/Disney Store ????

I have a friend who is taking a job with the Disney Store. When I worked for them in the past they were still part of Disney and we received great benefits. When Children's place took over the passes and discounts to the parks stopped. She has informed me that is all starting over again. They are calling it the "purple pass". Are there any castmembers out there that work for the store that can verify this for me?

I would be interested in to know this too...my friend mentioned working part time at the mall and since she is a disney fanatic too TDS would be perfect for her.

The purple pass is for full time managers only. Basically if you're an SM, ASM or above that, you get one. It gets you into the park only. No food or merchandise discounts and no resort discounts. It *might* get your spouse/dependents in, I can't remember for certain, but I don't think it does. (If Poohnatic shows up and sees this thread, she'll know for sure about that park). Part time CMs at TDS get 3 1-day park hoppers per calendar year. They are no longer mailed like when we were park of TWDC. You have to fill out a request form at least 1 month in advance and pick them up at guest relations at the parks.
I was a sales lead at TDS until mid-June of this year.

LOL, Kimya, I saw you were the last to post and figured YOU had the answer!

The purple pass is for salaried management (ASM level and higher) and gets you and three guests or dependents into the parks. As Kimya said, no other discounts apply.
