OT Disney DVD's cheap

Brilliant, thank you! There's quite a few classics I still need, and those prices are great. :thumbsup2

Actually, maybe I shouldn't thank you - this is going to cost me! ;)

Good linking Cyrano........only Disney DVDs we need now though are Jungle Book, 101 dalmations and the original Fantasia.

Dont suppose anyone knows where i can pick any of these up for a normal price?

These films are not on release at the moment however Jungle Book and 101 Dalmatians are available in 2007(Easter and Autumn)

Unfortunately fantasia is not going to be re released until 2011. :sad2:

Cheers for that wideyes.......think i'll wait for the first two then and as for fantasia........my sister has that so maybe i can persuade her with some swappsies.

wideeyes - how do you know these dates?? Do you have any idea when sleeping beauty and the little mermaid will be re-released?

Thanks :)

What about trying Ebay?

if you do go on eBay remeber that a lot of the Disney DVD on there are fake (I guess some people don't mind buying fakes), copies of brand new sealed Beauty and the Beast are probably fake as they are not even on realease to buy in the shops.

The authentic ones which will be used can sell for a lot of money, I've seen copies of Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast go for between £40-£90.

I found a shop last night that was selling Fantasia for £25, it didnt stay on the shelf long! roll on next year and the release of Jungle Book and 101 Dalmations to complete the classics. I also had to unlock my DVD player so I could play Make Mine Music, which is listed as a classic but unavailable in the UK.

Im not too keen on using Ebay........it all looks too dodgy for my liking. I found copies of The Jungle Book and 101 Dalmations going for 150-ish quid on Amazon!!! :furious:

Really! That does surprise me. I bought my copy of B & B on DVD even before I had a DVD player - how sad is that? I knew they would only be available for a short time so I thought I'd better put one by against the day that I purchased a DVD player. [I've got one now, thank goodness]. I didn't know the originals were going for such a high price. Not that I would sell mine for any price.

I managed to pick up Little Mermaid from a local video shop for £5 last year also.........if anyone is interested heres the website i used to get Fantasia.....

clicky for shop stock

Only thing is though they only show what stock they have at their shops.....you cannot buy online.
