OT Deerhurst Resort, what can you tell me?

My DD8 and I are staying at the Deerhurst resort in August.
Can anyone tell me anything about it?
Any tips on what to do and where to eat?

Our provincial music conference is held at Deerhurst every few years. If you are staying at one of the Sports Villas they have a small kitchenette so you can bring breakfast foods. The breakfast buffet is good but really expensive (over $25 last time we were there). In Huntsville there are now the regular chain restaurants like Kelseys, Swiss Chalet etc but we always have a dinner at Three Men and a Stove, a fun local place. You might need reservations, I know we do and we go in November, the off season.

Like hcoker1, we have also only stayed in off-season. Nice place, but as you read in my countdown, we spend August at Delawana. Lots of family fun there.
