OT-daycare issues

WOW..3 and 4 year olds on a field trip 3 hours away..I don't think I would let my kids go unless me, DH or another family member was a chaperon. We were lucky at my kids Daycare. The daycare my kids went to had a Kindergarten. My DS was in it. His Birthday is in Sept so he missed the cut off for the town..anyway, during that summer the Daycare took the Kindergarten class on field trips every Friday in August. If a parent didn't want them too go, they stayed in the class with the kids 1 year younger. We did have to pay I think for 1 field trip. it was to the aquarium and they were back by 12 noon. We just had to pay for the cost of admission. There were no additional fees for keeping the kids in for the summer and no additional registration fees.
