OT: Copying digital pics to CD - ?????

Hi,
I bought a package of 30 CD-R (by TDK, it says "For computer burning, writable surface, data - MP3 - Audio - video - photos") to copy my pics from my hard drive. When I insert the CD into what I think is my CD drive, it doesn't recognize it...the drive makes a whirring noise, but the pop-up says "Please insert a disk into drive D". I tried flipping it over too. What am I missing?

Also, when I finally get my CD drive to work, do I just create folders with my pics on the CD? Can I copy over a whole folder-full of pics at once? Lastly, can you put a label on these CDs - how do you organize them?

What kind of burning software that comes with your PC? Nero? Easy CD Creator? Just use the "help" within the software and you'll get the exact answer.

You can't just put a sticker on them, it has to be a label made for cd/dvd's. I just write with a sharpie on mine. It's quicker and easier.
