Evening all,
Just dropping by quickly as I am taking a quick coffee break. I am snowed under with work this evening!!

Really well, thank you SO much for asking Small World. After around 3 hours at the hospital which included a scan (the guy doing the scan told her that it didn't look like anything) and two appointments with a consultant (second on to get the results she was in and out within two minutes!) she was told it was just tissue and nothing needed to be done. The relief was enormous, so much so that I've had a blinding headache since we left the hospital.
Just glad it's now over and done with and I can concentrate on sorting out booking our Disney holiday and Christmas.

That's great news Diane, that everything's okay:)

Try Saratoga springs, Old Key West, or the fort wilderness lodges!!!

I'm hoping I can squeeze in a trip next year to Port Orleans Riveside. :goodvibes:

But for the wedding we will have a Polynesian/Grand Floridian combo. :)

Must keep these names in mind. I really need to start looking around at places etc coz I'm hoping to go or want to go in 2012 for my 40th lol. Ideally I'd like to stay on-site as it's just so convenient but I know that will also cost a huge bomb.

It doesnt have to it depends where you stay. Pop was only £40 a night for a room when we went (but as Torsie says I think they are too small if you have kids).

There are these suites at allstars that look great though, they are basically two hotel rooms knocked into one with one bedroom and sofa beds in the living room. You get a little kitchen and two bathrooms, I think these are meant to be quite reasonable.

Diane,
great news about your daughter :yay:
Do you mind me asking how old is she?

|Thank you and no I don't mind you asking. She's just turned 25 and found this lump in her breast 6 weeks ago. She immediately went to the doctor (the next day) who was almost certain it was nothing sinister and wanted her back within the month, which she did. Nothing had changed, no discharge and the second doctor (different than the first) also was convinced it was nothing to worry about (but you still do!) - anyhow she was referred to the local hospital (some 25 minutes away), she had to wait two weeks for the appointment and thankfully all was clear today. Very big relief!

Thank you Jackie, you've no idea how much it has meant to me - it really helped knowing that people were thinking of us today.

Good evening everyone:goodvibes

Diane, that is fabulous news. I can't imagine the stress this must have been causing.

I'm off again, just lurking and popping in to give:hug: . Hi to everyone!

From what I've seen (I don't have an up to date menu) the salmon with lemon mash looks amazing.... If fish isn't your thing though, their steaks look amazing!!

Yes I'm not a fish eater (I've tried to like it though!), steak does sound good but I'm worried about eating too much red meat on holiday! Might go for the veggie option or be really boring and have the burger (even though I know thats red meat too.....).

I don't eat red meat, but the picture of the steak Karen put on the review thread made me drool! Lol! I believe they still do the farmhouse chicken dish....
