Good morning everyone! Can't believe we're all dressed & fed (well, hubby's not dressed) and it's only 8.35 on a Sunday morning lol. Trying to decide what to do now coz if we stay indoors, it's gonna be a loooooong day. Might take the kids to an indoor play place or something.

Yeah.... When she met me her face fell.... A couple of weeks into our relationship, she asked Robert, totally unprompted: "Wouldn't she be happier if she dropped some weight?"....

Snap on the never moving to Yorkshire thing to be near the MILs!

Can't believe she said that!!! OMG, that's soooo rude of her.

Listening to horror stories about MILs makes me feel quite lucky (if you can call it lucky). Well, my MIL is not around anymore (she passed away 3 yrs ago) but even before that, she was back in Mauritius, so only saw her like once a year kinda thing. Then when we did actually see each other, we speak different lingos (well, we speak the same Chinese dialect but hers is slightly different to mine), so not much conversation there either But I have to put up with my BIL & his family over here. They might be in Exeter but they're sooo annoying (luckily, DH thinks so too ).

OMG, cannot believe your MIL said that... You're right it's the in/out law factor . I have lots of issues with MIL but within time I've learnt that the best way is to keep quiet. The main problem for us is that I'm not Jewish and she is so you can just imagine. I have nothing against her religion/beliefs but would like her to accept me the way I am. She lives in Geneva so we see her every now and again but I remember going there when Mia was a baby and her not talking to me for a week because I wanted to spend A day with Jeremy and Mia on my own...

As you say, luckily they don't live near us

i have woken up in a VERY bad mood beacuse:
1) DS Enrico yesterday at the cinema broke his mobile - it was three months old!!!
2) DS Enrico again came back after the cinema and a pizza with friend saying his best friend had got drunken and caused the group troubles.
3) DS Edoardo was back around 4ish and woke me up.
4) It's cold and i hate it cold
5) Tomorrow it's monday and i dont look forward to it.

Amen.

Bob, what a stupid MIL you have, you should tell her: i can lose some weight but the chances you get your brain back are few - ehm suppose this would not make things better for you would it lol I said i am in a bad mood LOL
