A blast from the past - well before your time Rob

I was having this discussion the other day - I still have all my vinyl collection at my mums and wish I had somewhere to play it . There was nothing like going into Woolies on a Saturday and buying a record

Oh Gosh, I have a HUGE collection of Vinyl! It's all in storage at the moment... I used to raid Charity Shops constantly for them! I can remember feeling really proud when I found a copy of 'Sophisticated Boom Boom' by Dead or Alive, as I adore them and could never find the CD! I have huge stacks of T. Rex vinyl (Given that Marc Bolan is my hero!), Human League, Culture Club, Paul Young, Thunder, WASP, Motley Crue.... All kinds! We only had to move it because our bedroom is tiny and it was a choice between Robert moving in or the records!!

Not as bored as I was having to listen to Robin burbling some rubbish about Ballpoint Bananas on the Batman film I'll bet!

I only have Siouxsie and the Banshees on Cassette... I do like them though....I love their cover of 'Dear Prudence'....

Dead or Alive I just plain love!! HUGE fan....!

I think it's quite interesting how vinyl has "survived" and bands are still releasing albums on vinyl, yet tapes and vhs are totally gone now.

I guess that says something for all the DJ's, who are the only logical reason I can think of for there still being vinyl - that and the purists

I often think Vinyl is easier.... Maybe thats just because my CD player is useless.....

Jackie - I think you need to have a word with somebody and see if you can ask the tag fair(y/ies) nicely to re-create your tags.

After today's tagfest, it looks quite strange seeing you without any tags among everybody elses. Either that, or we need to find more people to join in this thread so try and disperse the colours from all the tags - my screen looks like a bag of skittles

Oh any numpty can do it - just go to edit profile and there is a reset button. I lost my Mod badge as well but I managed to grovel and got that back
