As for reading through all the threads...

We're on thread 7 now (yes, I just looked it up) so that's almost 1,750 pages of chat now. At 15 posts per page, that makes for a total of about 26,000 posts to read through... Might take a while

no problem then - just off to read them.back in a few hours. No make that sometime next week

very possibly - I've just noticed I've installed something wrong so I need to remove it and re-install it again. Unfortunately, that file is on another pc and the final piece I need has to be downloaded first and will take an hour.

Why oh why does it have to be so complicated to set up a pc for doing programming on

Some things my daughter has recently learned.......
1) mobile phones don't work too good after going through the washing machine
2) If you put your phone through the machine, your mum will buy you the world's cheapest phone to replace it.

Some things my daughter has recently learned.......
1) mobile phones don't work too good after going through the washing machine
2) If you put your phone through the machine, your mum will buy you the world's cheapest phone to replace it.

That's a valuable lesson in life, but mum's learnt that one in the past as well

It's lucky money still works after going through the wash - I've been known to send notes through the wash quite a few times, but luckily they always come out ok again.
