How is everyone - it seems like ages since we have all been on at once

I'm not bad - as I mentioned earlier, I'm jsut trying to get my laptop setup right so I can start programming my project for me MSc.

I also got a history lesson today - one of my granparent's received something he called a record player for his birthday, so I got to learn all about these funny giant black things that look like giant cd's

I was having this discussion the other day - I still have all my vinyl collection at my mums and wish I had somewhere to play it . There was nothing like going into Woolies on a Saturday and buying a record

Not quite - I used to have a couple that I listened to quite a lot when I was small (one of which was actually a Disney one ) but they were definitely on their way out by that point.

It's interesting to see that quite a few bands still release in vinyl even now, so it obvious still has its fans

I was laughing the other day, they were advertising a CD special edition of now 1 to celebrate its 25 years. We have Now 1 on LP!

Looking at mine I had The Clash, The Police , The Jam, Talking Heads, Wham, Bob Marley,Culture Club,Madonna - I was a real 80s chick

Interestingly, amazon still has sections for all the older formats - vhs, vinyl and even cassettes

I remember sitting and putting all my old albums onto the computer and burning them to cd, now they've all been released on CD anyhow!

Hope you feel better tomorrow Small World, I'm drowning my sorrows, seems I spoke too soon before - we went into overtime (lost 2 goals in 15 seconds - HOW!!!) and lost 7 - 6. Doesn't look too good for tomorrow!
