Just wanted to say Happy New Year to anyone still on the boards

I'm stuck on a 12-hour nightshift till 6:30 am, I'm the only one in the building apart from 2 security people, and I can see all the partying in the pubs opposite. Ah well, I get to sleep all day tomorrow

Its just the way the shifts worked out this year - I was on days for Christmas (23-26) and nights for new year (31-3). I know I wont miss a hangover though, there's some real states coming out of the pubs opposite us

i used to work in a fast food place and just seeing the state people came in at the night time in was unbelievable it would put anyone off drink for life

It seems a shame the way your shifts work out - will it mean you'll get Christmas/New Year off next year or will it be a case of 'wait and see' what your shifts are then?
