Hello everyone

Sorry I have not been on for ages - I have had thhat stomach bug for the last week and have been poorly :sad2: , and the run up to xmas was very busy!

Going to finish of all my food reports - I've been reading all these negative DLRP trip reports :sad2: I thought the park was in great shape at the beginning of December - and I was only in WDW in January so I had that to compare too!:)

I agree, I thought the park looked great in October and November when I was there. When we were at Disneyland in the summer so many CM's there had such a negative opinion of DLRP, I set them straight!! They thought I was joining when I said the Disneyland park at DLRP was my favourite of all the Disney parks I have been to!!

I walked around DLRP going the theming is so much better than the magic kingdom etc etc .......

Well as far as I am concerned the less people that go the shorter queues for me :thumbsup2

Of all the Disney parks I have been to the MK at WDW is my least favourite, this usually surprises most people, but I think the MK equivalent parks at Paris and Anaheim are much better.

Which is your favourite WDW park? I think mine is Epcot - I get really excited when I go in and I love future world and world showcase

Joint between Epcot (I love Soarin and Test Track, the whole of the World Showcase and I adore Illuminations) and DHS (I love RnRC, Fantasmic plus Toy Story Maina now that is there - we rode it at DCA in the summer.) This is why we stay at the Beach Club Villas so we can walk to both these parks. I'm looking forward to going back to Epcot now that I am into photography as there is so score for great pictures around the World Showcase.

Your seriously making me want to got to WDW now, my bf says we cant go until our wedding in 2011 - so it will feel special

I'm not going back until Christmas/New Year 2010/11 either. But half the fun of the trip is in the planning!! I wish we could just book it already, but staying DVC we can't book until 11 months before we go.

Well, you have to go for your 8 month planning session!!

I don't think (although hopefully I am wrong! :lmao: ) you need a planning session for an escape wedding.....

Although I have pointed out that it seems wrong to me to pick
A. a wedding location we have never seen in person
B. Pick a restaurant to dine in for our wedding meal that I have never ate in before - what if I hate it!!

We wont be going to Tokyo now as my brother is moving to South Korea instead - grrrr!!!

(Really need to change my ticker!)

If you would like to use me as an example (don't tell Henry I'm having wishes!)

We are having an 18 monthish visit to see the Wedding Pavillion, whitehal room, and sago cay pointe (and then Napa room, GF marina if we dont like the 3 we see first)

Then the 8 month planning. We'll also eat at Ohana's as I want our welcome dinner there and want to try it first!

So you guys definitely need at least one trip!

Haha I like your style!! We ate at Ohanas I loved it there, as we want that as our welcome dinner too!

We are thinking of Citricos for our evening meal and using the private room (I think there will be 12 of us), but I would like to try the California Grill and Artist Pointe too as I was thinking they might be options and really we should try all 3 :thumbsup2

I said to Henry we could go back and not even got to the parks - just eat and visit univeral/sea world etc so it would seem more special when we go back.

We were also thinking of doing a disney cruise for a honeymoon but I am not sure if I would like it so I would like to try one of those too :lmao: !

hi there guys!

Wrote a whole speech there then deleted...shortend version is I'm getting annoyed with all the threads about DLP being poops!

Anyway how are you all? Everyone have a nice xmas yeah?

Yeah, I dont know if cruising is for me...?

California grill has a private room (Napa room) you can have a dancefloor and everything, and reserve it to watch wishes and they'll pipe the music!

I'm with you - I was wondering did these people go to Blackpool pleasure beach by accident or something?:lmao: :rotfl: (No offense to anyone who loves Blackpool pleasure beach by the way!:) )

We love Citricos, Artists Pointe and California Grill. In fact every time we go to WDW and DLP we have to eat at California Grill, it's kind of tradition now!! Artists Pointe is also a must for us each WDW trip. We make sure that we time our GC reservation so we are there when Wishes is on so we can go and watch it out on the CG balcony, they pipe the music in and it is wonderful. Last trip we ate their on Christmas eve and it was very magical.

I really like Blackpool Pleasure Beach, but I know it is no Disney park!! But I'm a big rollercoaster fan and getting to ride coasters from the Victorian era is quite cool I think. One of the scariest coasters I have been on is the Race Horse one there (can't remember the name!), seriously I always think I am going to fall off that, it never feels safe!

Awww lovely! We had a castle view table and wishes piped in at Ohanas :) . I am hoping we will be hiring the Grand1 for to watch wishes on:goodvibes - I would cry my eyes out if we didnt get it - thats the part I am most looking forward too! (Means I have to avoid my family watching wishes before my wedding day though!).
