We bought a Wii earlier in the year and I love it, I have Wii Fit and so far I'm doing okay on it, did a 30 minute Step this afternoon which all but finished me off (wasn't cold after that I can tell you).
For Christmas one of mine got the cheerleader game, we also got Mario Kart and Ice Hockey (of course) - so far they have been busy with other stuff so they haven't made it out the packaging - maybe tomorrow!
Cool - let me know how the cheerleader games goes!! :)

I'll be back onto my davina dvds after new years!! weighed myself today and ive put on a stone and a half since september! :(

I got jack a PS3 and we have been fighting oer whose turn it is on Little Big Planet - awesome game!!

My son has a PS3 and loves it, I did get him a couple of games for it, he's on it now playing ice hockey!
I certainly will let you know on the cheerleader game, apparently you can use the Wii balance board with it!

Cool, thank you! :)

We dont have wii fit, :( i dont think id use it enough to warrant the £70!

I'll definately be using my wii fit more in the new year. I need to diet and loose weight too!! I like doing the boxing and trying to see what routes I can take on the jogging.

I like doing the jogging, funniest bit is trying to overtake the guy leading me. I do admit to doing the 'free jog' most of the time and watching tv - the time seems to go quicker that way.
When I spent the £70 I wasn't totally sure I'd get enough use out of it. I used to go to the local gym twice a week with a friend, but she got fed up and there is no way I have the confidence to go on my own, so this is the best way, I find I can motivate myself most days to do something off it, mainly the aerobic section but the hula hoop nearly kills me!

Thats really good though - well done for keeping it up! My 2 SILs both have it and hardly ever use it now!

I had a go on one of the step levels and it was really good fun! :)

Morning all. Out shopping today - kinda dreading the crowds though...

what are your plans?

afternoon everyone - Im looking forward to a lazy afternoon now

Good afternoon, that is my plan for the afternoon too. Pete is out at the theatre and won't be back until about 10:30 so I have the house to myself.

Im waiting to watch You've got Mail on TV - I like that film so its the perfect excuse to curl up

Afternoon!! Louise is watching telly, Adam's doing some colouring, hubby's asleep on the sofa and I've just disappeared up here for a few mins peace lol. We went out to the park this morning - took the kids' bikes as well. We don't usually take the bikes out with us as we know we'll end up pushing the bikes eventually. Went to a different (but not so big) park today where it's all flat, so Louise had a good pedal round the field. Adam kept cycling backwards, so gave up after a few mins lol. He only got this (proper) bike 2-3 mths ago, so not quite got the hang of it yet, although he can pedal okay on his tricycle:confused3 . Then we went to the Chinese restaurant nearby for some dim sum. It's freeeeezing out there today.

Ooh I like that film. I have been pricing up Disney holidays!! We are planning to go back to WDW but I thought I would price up Tokyo as I would love to go there. But it would cost nearly the same for 2 weeks at the Boardwalk as it would for 4 nights at the Disneyland hotel in Tokyo. Plus 4 day park passes for Tokyo were coming out at nearly £250 each!! I think I'll go back to WDW instead!!

Talking about WDW, is it too early to start planning the trip??? lol. We'll be going in 2012 for my 40th (well, I'd like to go lol) and I have no clue where to start looking. I'm sure I'll pop along to the WDW board at some point to get more info. I guess getting a brochure from the travel agent would be a good start.

Where or how or who do you guys book your WDW hols with? What's the best airlines to fly with? Virgin? I think we're going to stay on-site - where would you recommend we stay? We'll definitely need car hire as well, won't we? A couple of friends have recommended that we get a villa in Kissimee, so that we're not stuck at the hotel all the time. But I'm just worried about driving around in such a big place.

It's going to be so much more complicated than planning for a trip to DLRP lol.

Help... lol.

I'm looking at prices for a holiday in the sun for 2010. Going to give Disney a break for a year.
