Awww lovely! We had a castle view table and wishes piped in at Ohanas :) . I am hoping we will be hiring the Grand1 for to watch wishes on:goodvibes - I would cry my eyes out if we didnt get it - thats the part I am most looking forward too! (Means I have to avoid my family watching wishes before my wedding day though!).
yeah, I wanted the G1, but i think well be having more than 16 guests.

Do you want the WP though? As you have to book the G1 at 12 months, but escape brides can't lock in dates at the WP until 8 months! Would be a pretty nervy wait!

No we want the Yacht Club Gazebo so were ok :) , as there is only a few of us I think the wedding pavillion would be too big, I love it though its very pretty - and you don't have to worry about the rain!

I don't think (although hopefully I am wrong! :lmao: ) you need a planning session for an escape wedding.....

Although I have pointed out that it seems wrong to me to pick
A. a wedding location we have never seen in person
B. Pick a restaurant to dine in for our wedding meal that I have never ate in before - what if I hate it!!

My friend ran off to Mexico to get married :rotfl: - they both have never been there before but liked the look of the hotel/beach in the brochure.

We also had a table at Ohannas during Wishes during our last trip too. I really liked it, but Pete and my friends weren't overly fussed about the food or going there again. Shame really as I liked it. Our other favourite restaurant is the Yachtsmans Steakhouse, we always eat there 2 times on our trip. It is tradition now to check into the BCV then saunter to the Yachtsmans Steakhouse for dinner. The waiters there also serve in the lounge next door. Last trip one CM began to great us by name and ask if we wanted our usual drink!! lol

The Gazibo at the YC is so pretty, we saw a few wedding there last trip and many brides walking through the Beach Club hotel.

Yeah, probably about 30 people.

Depends how many decide to come!! As we are only paying for ppls flights who are critical (family, bridesmaids, best man etc.)

But they'll get 2 years notice and WDW hotel discount! So hopefully most can make it. :)

:goodvibes Henry has told me I need to get my ring size sorted so I might not have to long to wait before I can officially become bridezella!:lmao:

Yes we picked if ebfore Sara-Jaynes thread - and then I saw it and fell in love :lovestruc

I wish the one at the wilderness lodge was nicer, as I love the theming there but the location looks dull to me and no DIS brides seem to get married there

Hey babes!

I know, like why come on here and say it? Oich.

Great xmas ta. You?

I know people are allowed an opinion but its getting so flippin boring now I almost want to write a comment back but hand on heart I swear I'll get banned on this place!:rotfl: There was 2 I think I read on here, just back from a lovely night out at the in laws (yip they are REALLY great) and I swear if I could I would have shoved their comment somewhere nasty!;) I was rippin!:rotfl:
Thats not normal eh? I reckon I need a shrink!:sad1:

I'm with you - I was wondering did these people go to Blackpool pleasure beach by accident or something?:lmao: :rotfl: (No offense to anyone who loves Blackpool pleasure beach by the way!:) )

I know, thing is half these people will go back!:rotfl: And as for the comment about Florida being just as cheap, blah blah blah etc, then I'm sorry but they are talking cack! I phoned a while back about Florida (about 2 years ago) and it was in the thousands!

Gosh, I really must go get a brochure soon or have a look on the internet to have a nosey at all these places you're all talking about!

I know I'm only just reading your posts but it's all sooo exciting !!

Have any of you thought about doing any tours when you are at WDW? We love doing these, they segway ones are really fun. Plus if you are a huge Disney fan the Backstage Magic is amazing, 7 hours behind 3 of the parks and going in the tunnels under the MK!

I really wanted to do one on our last trip but we didnt have time, I saw one going on in Mk and it looked fun. I want to do the one where you get to go in the tunnels - I have always wanted to go down there!

Alice, you should get a guide book!! :)

The brochures are always waaay to vague for me!

The tunnels are well, concrete and tunnel like!! They are very industrial with loads of AC pipes, waste pipes etc down there. The one interesting bit maybe is the colours they use on the wall so you know what land you are under. Plus the little signs by the exit doors into the park of the 7 dwarfs with 7 things a CM must remember when on duty. It is quite interesting though taking the cast member entrance to the MK. You go through quite a bit of security to be able to park right behind Main Street! We also enjoyed being in the World Showcase before it opened and getting to go behind the scenes of some of the attractions. Plus we went out to the laundry facitlity where they do all the laundry for the on site hotels, the place was huge! One of the bits I found really interesting was going to the workshops where they make ride parts and do the overhalls. They were making furniture for the hotel rooms when we were there and re guilding one of the horses on the carousel.

That segway tour is really fun. I loved zooming around the world showcase! We did the segway tour at Disneys California Adventure too which was really fun, DH nearly ran over Minnie Mouse back stage!! Next trip we want to do the off road segway one around the camp site, that looks fun too.

There are tunnels under the MK as the park is actually built above ground. The tunnels are ground level and the park is really the 1st floor. They had to do it this way as they could not dig below ground level due to the high water table.

Hi Nikki!! :) Nice day?

Not bad thanks. My sister came over with the children for their christmas presents as they were meant to come over Boxing day but my niece was ill.
