A quick question I would like to ask if you don't mind....

I know that I will not be back in DLP for a good few years no sympathy please or I might cry

I bought 8 fastpasses off E-bay and got great use out of then esp for BTM.Now I would like to pass them on to some DISers.Can I do that here or is that frowned upon

You've just reminded me to pass mine on as well. I bought 4 off ebay. Must go and look for my DLRP stuff first though. I put them away somewhere when we got back and have done a fair bit of post-Xmas tidying up since and have no idea where the things are now lol.

OMG I was saying all that last year....and the year before...its like tradition for us to watch it but NOT going to watch it this year! You know whats even scarier? My surname is McKinlay! Hows that for trying to give yourself a heart attack!!!

In all seriousness I was crying going on the plane (2007) because I had a dream about a guy on the plane, when we went to give the person our buggy at the bottom of the plane it was the guy in my dream! Then the plane went all weird and everyone was screaming, it was like it couldn't get up because of the snow storm (this was real not a dream) and I was CERTAIN it was because I watched all the final destination films before we went. Funny now but at the time I thought we were a goner..

When I read it now I feel a right tube but I swear at the time it was horrible!!

Ohmigosh - as if I didn't hate flying enough already - that has seriously freaked me out! I'm so glad my next 2 trips are on Eurostar. (No stories about tunnel disasters please. )

Thats the only bad flight we have ever had though...You know how you think you would hold your kids? I held on tight to the arm rests staring at the lass sitting alongside the isle from me with tears streaming down my face! She was going mad! She was screaming and trying to get up! Thing is it probably only lasted seconds but it felt longer! Even my husband was scared!
But its all good, gotta do it again in a fortnight!

I was on a flight to peru, and out of the blue the pane just dropped, must've hit a air pocket or something.

Was pretty scary, but also kinda funny as the plane fell but all our cups of tea stayed in the same place and hit the ceilings, everyone got soaked.

Just glad i wasnt in the toilet at the time!

Thats hilarious! Mind you I probably would have cried!! I'm such a wimp, actually I think its more that I think to much about things that end wrong IYKWIM
For instance, we got a new luggage bag and now that I think I'm swapping that for the old suitcase I think something is going to go wrong!

Good morning everybody.

It appears my winter break from uni has been cancelled as the work for my final project is supposed to start on monday.

It's a mere 12,000 words for the main report, plus the programming, 5 progress reports at about 500 words each and a project proposal (not sure how long that is). The other way they describe it is equally scary - about 600 hours of work .

Luckily as I'm a part time student, I have until the summer to finish it but it's still going to be an awful lot of work
