OT - Chat Chat and More Chat

I have just been looking at the hotel i'm meant to be staying during my ambulance training. It looks ok but the rooms look a bit on the small side but i'm not paying so can't really complain.

I have had a terrible nights sleep- I was so stressed about having to go to uni today I felt sick all night. I've got up and its snowy, miserable and freezing bloody cold. I can't feel my fingertips anymore....

The snow is crazy here!! I have never seen anything like it in the UK!!! Inches deep, going to be fun walking to work, but very very cold!!!!

OMG! We've got about 6 inches of snow in London, all local schools cancelled, as are bus and train services! London has come to a stand still!

We've had a shower of snow this morning but it just made a very thin covering. Oh how I wish we had lots but I think its towards the end of the week we are getting it.

Thanks everyone.... I just don't want to be at uni because I hate it... I was kinda forced into starting uni in the first place and I hate it..... I just want out and done with....

Whoa! Thats some snow! Pretty though!! Our snow isn't like that.... There's white blankets of snow, nicely screwed up by a load of grey mush!!! It's horrible!

Our snow is pretty but because our road is private it will never be gritted so we wont be able to drive down it for days! Which means after surgery on Thursday I am going to have to get a lift to the end of my road and walk half a mile to my house over ice! I am SO scared already!

Sat in McDonalds trying to thaw out! 6" of snow here in DLRP and just been told that it's 50/50 if our train is running tonight :-(

We have loads of snow !!! 10 inches of it on our recycling boxes/wheelie bin lol.. and about 8 inches everywhere else. Yes, I'm so sad I've measured it lol. School's closed (I thought it might be as it was last year when the snow wasn't as heavy as this). Hubby's at home as well as there are no buses/trams to take him to the train station. Here are a few pics.

I'm just a miserable bugger Alice! Lol!! I just don't like university... The whole experience has been hell from start to finish! Cheering myself up by playing Just Like We Dreamed It on my Ipod and drinking a Coffee in the Cafe....
