Not yet, we usually drive to DLRP instead. We have only been once in 2004 on the Eurostar so it's quite new to all of us.

I have borrowed a friends portable DVD player incase Kacee kicks off. I can put on My Friends Tigger and Pooh to calm him down

capn i got one of those for my first trip and i am now on like my fourth dvd player and the last one just broke lol. i refuse to buy another one

thats what i paid for ashleighs ones lol

the first one i left her with my mom for two minutes and she spilt her drink in it

she dropped the second one but the last two just broke on their own

I am fine thank you, i had a rather upsetting phone call from my Daughter at Uni last night, she was in tears and desperately misses home.
I tried to reassure her and even said that she could come home if she wanted but she wants to stay. I came off the phone and cried my eyes out.

Aaahhh...I remember those days well! I wanted to come home from Uni for about the first 8 weeks! It gets easier though.

She is in Norwich so it is not too far around a 2 and a half/3 hour drive.
She i coming home next weekend which is good. She has a stinking cold as well which does not help, it must be hard to suddenly have to do everything for yourself.

The Eurostar is great, soooo easy. Once you have done it once you will want to travel that way all the time.

She i coming home next weekend which is good. She has a stinking cold as well which does not help, it must be hard to suddenly have to do everything for yourself.

(((Hugs))) I remember my parents leaving me (even though it was 20 years ago!) and feeling absolutely lost. It will get easier.

hopefully she'll be fine once she gets over her cold. You'll have to spoil her next weekend (but not too much or she wont want to go back)

She started in September, she has been ok up until now. Mind you they did have a long time off for Christmas hols so she probably got used to all the home comforts.
