OT: ChaCha

I had 15 questions and it told me when I was done. about 10 minutes later I got an email from a reviewer analyzing my work. I am waiting now to see if it was good enough for them. I passed all the beginning stuff yesterday - at 100%. it sounds like you need to go back in and finish. The last few questions I was kind of on my own without the tutorial help.

Thank you so much. I did go back in and finished. I don't know where I had read that we only needed to do 10 questions! Darn it, I screwed up one of the questions. For some reason, on one of them, it told me to attach neutral to the question but it ended up linking two of the questions together. Hopefully, the people reviewing will see what happened! Yikes!

I had to retake my simulation. The second time a round I got all good to great on my answers. With very constructive critisim. I could tell a different person reviewd them. much more positive. Now we will wait and see AGAIN.

He marked off the meaning of life one because I used my own answer instead of using the already provided answers! Plus the test got kind of screwed up and showed 2 of the same questions on my review but with obviously different answers. How could he not have seen that was not right? the best piece of advice I can give is to follow their directions at the top. READ each hint they give. I truly think it depends on the reviewer. The first time it just said too many characters - and I used their answers. both times I had a horoscope question. yesterday I put just the horoscope and was told the answer needed to be fuller. To day I said something like Horoscope for Capricorn to day is.... And I went over by 2 characters and was told I didn't need to put the extra stuff at the beginning. WTH? Utalize their links for finding info. AND FOLLOW THE HINTS AT THE TOP TO THE LETTER

Good Lord, I thought there would be better guidelines than ChaCha's! We'll wait and see, I guess. I just want to try them out and see if I actually make more if the answers are easier to find. That is, IF I get a chance to find out.

I had this problem too. You'll need to go into firefox and it should work. At least, it did for me.

I just finished filling out my paperwork with KGB. Waiting to schedule my shawdow shift. What exactly is that? And what happens after that?

So.

The new QC policy has kicked in.

I've gotten FOUR QC's this morning. And it's only Monday.

I've never been less than 97% accurate, ever. I got 3 "okays" and 1 "bad". And the "bad" was total BS (it was a vanity query that had no listings, so I replied that so-and-so must like her privacy, there was no listing, and could I otherwise assist).

This will be my first week since ... well, my first week ... not being TG.

I was only doing this to pay for my trip. It gets paid off this weekend, so I think I'm done if I don't make TG. First they took away most of my money-makers (definitions are now very poorly auto-answered, as well as scores), now I'm getting "lit up" for things I can't control. I've always been extremely dependable, helpful, honest (clearly others are using macros or something - 3000+ queries a week? Yeah right), and given clear and concise answers to the IS. Now this? No thanks.

I know I'm essentially preaching to the choir. Sorry for the rant.

Now that everyone's gotten through training, how do you like KGB? Is it more organized than ChaCha?

Today I got an email saying my account has been deactivated for 3 days because of bad QC scores. I haven't been on in over a week and only got QC'd on one thing, but twice on one question and neither was my fault.

I think I'm finished with it. I'm an Expeditor and traffic has been horrible for months.

Then they add all this extra stuff that we have to do and things we have to answer but still get paid only 3 cents a question. So we take work away from all the guides and don't get paid squat. I could really use the extra money but it isn't worth it anymore.

I was able to do 47 ChaCha questions from 8pm-11pm Sunday night, which is tons better for me. Today I logged on and did hardly any. Dead again. Sunday it was almost B2B, and I couldn't log off. Today-not so much. How's everyone else's volume?

I did my kgb_ simulation today. I could have done better on 3 out of 15 answers, but it was little things (say "we" instead of "I", etc.) The rest of my answers the reviewer was happy with. It will take a bit of getting used to the program-I hope I pass!

They reinstated it today but I just don't think it is worth it.

Why should we, the expeditors, have to answer questions for only 3 cents and on top of that take questions away from the guides? It was great for a while at least.
