OT: ChaCha

I did the initial KGB test and did well. So I am just waiting to hear. If I do it I do have a separate checking account I only use for my soap sales, and ebay stuff.
I am not sure I like having to schedule a time, because things can change around here quickly, but I will see.

At KGB - you can take the test again in 30 days so just wait if you don't make it - maybe you will the 2nd level which I think would mean that you just have some extra training.

I was shocked to make top guide this week but excited. I think I might do both for a while and see which is better.

They ended up letting me take the sim test again this morning. It all happened really fast! They reviewed my second test and I did get all "the reviewer is happy with your response" on them. Hopefully I'll pass this time.

If you all haven't been on ChaCha yesterday or today you may want to log in. It has been b2b for tons of people that it usually is not b2b for since yesterday morning.

Who knows how long it will last. For good I hope.

Yes. Last night it was B2b for me. I thought, "What the heck? Everyone must be off school due to the cold!" I actually had to use the "check here to go to away" because I couldn't go to Away fast enough!

I saw a KGB ad tonight on TV! Ha ha!

I don't normally watch TV because with the kids and my elderly parents, the TV is never free. But tonight it was for a short time and I happened to catch this commercial.

That's how I heard about them!!! I am scheduled for my first shift on Monday - I am not sure they have actually gone live yet with agents. It appears they aren't running any shifts right now.

Whatever they did to ChaCha today worked - I am back to perfectly normal traffic and am back to back. For those of you who have been having trouble - you might want to try now. If ChaCha stays like this -I will stick with them over KGB but it might be nice to have both b/c if ChaCha ever crashes again I have a back up.

I got invited to train! :cheer2: I'll probably do it this weekend after kids are in bed.

I'm also going to give ChaCha another chance.

My DD does ChaCha to help with her college books and spending money. She just downloaded her 1099. I do her taxes, can anyone give me any information as to what to do with this?

I know the 1099's DH has received from work we put in the 1099 line on our 1040 and that's it. Is it the same for her with ChaCha? Does she need anything else like a Schedule C or something else? Thanks!

I've been B2B all day on ChaCha. The conspiracy theorist in me has thoughts that they "opened the floodgates" or something, but I just am thrilled with the surge in questions.

I've only been on for about two hours, and have racked up 65 answers already.

Come on, ChaCha. Momma's got a Disney trip to fund. LOL

I think it is because they lifted the 20 a month text. They announced that and everyone is back to back. I don't think that is a coincidence.

i usually do my own taxes online and i have no idea what to do with it either. sorry :( anyone know?

This is self employment and you will have to claim it as so. It cost me about a quarter of what I made on my taxes this year.

No, no pay here yet either. I saw on the forums that a lot of people they are expecting to get paid tomorrow, Wednesday.

HOLY COW!! :scared: 25%??? that's insane!
When you are self employed you have to pay all your social security taxes whereas when you are an employee your employer pays half.
You then have to pay your income taxes and if applicable, state taxes. Unless you can somehow expense it out or have deductions that are not used for other income ( my Dh works) you can figure around 25% of your gross.
