Ok, I know I read that this happened to someone else, but I got a QC for a question that I did not even answer!! I am sure I have never seen the question before and I know for a fact that the answer was not written by me. How do I respond back to them and let them know that this has happened?

I had the same problem. You're supposed to go to feedback and let them know that way. It referenced a guide number, but I don't know what my guide number is. How can I find out?

There are a lot of people chiming in on this issue in the ChaCha forums. An administrator said they are working on it, but said it happened to a small amount of people. It doesn't sound like a small amount!

I have been QC e-mails for questions I didn't answer and also QC e-mails for when I reference the ChaCha Joke Page. I keep sending feedback on the issue, but so far I haven't heard anything on either issue.

Is there a place that lists if you got your bonus? Like "bonus $13.00". Not just that your $$$ went up. I had been tracking my number of searches by $$ amount - for example, $10 per day. I knew after Wed. I had my 200 searches. But yesterday I couldn't get my $$$ total the whole time I was searching. I started early yesterday too, so I have no idea how many searches I did now. I'm not sure if the money increase is from searches or from bonus??

I haven't found a really good way to keep track of number of searches yet.

Also, if you do searches after midnight sat. night, do those count for the next week? To get my 130 searches for the bonus last Saturday, I went until 1 am Central time. So do all of those searches after midnight Eastern time count towards this week??

No, the bonus isn't listed anywehre seperately in your account. You can see a lsit of who qualified in the blog, but that's it.

And yes, anything after midnight eastern on Saturday goes toward the next week.

Do you cite the entire joke page with all the jokes, or do you click on the individual joke, and cite the page that just has THAT one joke on it (which is what we're supposed to do)?

I agree...just cite the page with the indiv joke, not the whole joke page.

I'm so frustrated the ChaCha forum is STILL down.

I got a QC tonight for a question where the IS had asked for a phone number and the guide prior to me sent this information with one number missing from the phone number. The IS sent in a request asking for the last number in the phone number which I replied with an apology for the missing number in the previous answer and provided them with the entire phone number. AND QC sends ME the ding for failing to have an accurate answer. I really HOPE they fix this that just makes me mad!

I think the reason you got a QC is they want address & phone number each time someone asks for either. At least that's what I've heard...

I don't see why I would need to give the information that another guide had previously given - otherwise I always give both. I made TG so I guess it doesn't really matter but I really think that QC has a lot of issues - I have gotten 3 and only one was IMO legit - If they had affected my TG status I would have been mad -and so many people got QC for someone else last week - that would make me really mad!!

I made Top Guide for my second week!

I've only been doing this two weeks. I scored better than I thought and made TG my first week. This week I thought I did pretty well. (If I do say so , myself) I'm curious to see my scores.

To new guides: It gets MUCH easier the more you do it. You get much faster too!
