i just finished the simulator test. You have to click in the toolbar where it says to use this page as a source...or something like that...then from there you format the answer. It took me awhile to get it too!
I wish you could practice and play around with the process before making you test on it! I'm keeping my fingers crossed, it sounds like fun!

Since I couldn't answer after a several minutes, I hit abort. I know you aren't supposed to use that. But, what else...I didn't need any clarification. I just needed to be able to answer.
I really want to be able to do this and know I am capable, but ugh.
Yeah, I wish you could do a couple of trials first that aren't part of the test.

If you want to use google instead of their search engine, just type in google.com at the top of the page that has the "Add this page as source" (the green plus) and then google will show up on that page and you can add it as a source. There may be an easier way, but that is the way I figured out how to go outside their limited searching.

I wasn't trying to use Google as a source. I found the answer through Google.
I'm just having too many issues. My second try, I had to go outside of their site again and I did figure out the use this page as a source. But then, what I highlighted was too many characters. I edited and it still said too many characters. I was at 140-ish (Does the link count as characters or something?). It wouldn't let me paste the answer before or after I edited it.
It isn't hard at all to find the information quickly. But using their system is presenting too many problems for me. Maybe I have a setting on my computer that is messing things up .
I read you have to get 80% on the sim to pass. I already failed two of ten because of tech issues (maybe my fault; maybe their fault). I guess I can try one more time, but I shouldn't bother after that.
I'm disappointed.

I was using the count they provided.

OK, some kind soul on their forum told me the actual character limit is 136. The rest is reserved for the link. (Why isn't this part of training..oh well, live and learn). She also told me that incomplete questions are not counted against you. I hope she is right. At least I feel better right now. Just FYI...this person suggested completing 15 questions instead of 10 to be safe. I thought they only graded 10, but maybe they look at the others.

Because that is the only thing I can think of for why I keep getting the error code message upon submitting my registration.

No, you don't need a referral...but I'm so thankful for my one friend who passed! And I think the girl who referred me is thankful for me...she's made $60 off of me.

About 15 minutes ago everything seemed to stop. I was getting them back to back and now nothing...sad too because i have a $20 minumum each day but doesn't look like I'll be hitting it tonight. America's Next Top Model is on tonight and I can't miss that lol

Yep, I hear ya! I'm trying to do $15 a day and it's tough to do when you can't get any questions! Thanks for the info. Is there somewhere you can go on the forums to find out when the site is 'down'?
