OT: ChaCha

Ok, maybe some of you have had this problem before, not sure. I haven't had much time for ChaCha lately, I've barely used the new universe at all. So I go in today on a day off from work hoping to make up a little lost time, and every other query, after I accept it, knocks me out. I'll be in the middle of a search and a box will pop up telling me I've taken too long to accept the search and it's gone to another guide, and then it'll clock me in as away. It's very odd, and frustrating. On top of that, I have no idea how to see how many searches I've done or what my current total is. On the main dashboard profile page my searches are not increasing at all. And I can't access anything else.

Any ideas?

They are changing the system over, it started last week and there are plenty of bugs they are working on. You'll need to download the "new" toolbar. The search counter only updates once a day, I really hate that...but what can you do. I'd send feedback about the other issues.

I actually did download the other toolbar, the other issues are just becoming rather annoying

I made top guide as well. I'm happy and surprised because this was my first full week. One thing I don't understand is that my completion rate was 95%. I only got locked 2 times and I did 201 searches - so what is the other 3.5%???

I got rejected, i thought I did well and even answere more than the 10 questions. No explanation,just that I didn't qualify, but please continue to use cha cha for questions. Yeah right like I would do this after they rejected me. Don't think so.

I was lurking here for months and saw the ChaChat info. I joined 2 weeks ago. Thank you all for helping me.

My question is about how the ChaCha week goes. I too made Top Guide and got the emal today. But doesn't their week go Monday to Sunday? Why are they telling me on a Thursday? Will all of my answers from now until next Thursday result in a .20 rate of pay?

top guide runs sunday-saturday, but the TG announcements aren't made until the following thursday and if you make it, you receive .20 per query until the next list comes out on the following thursday, and so on.

I'm getting so aggravated with ChaCha. I didn't pass the Guide test, but I got offered an Expeditor job. I go online to take the training, and it says my account has been suspended. I try to "sign up" again, and it says they're undergoing site maintenance. Any insight as to what the problem is?

I started ChaCha yesterday and love it I am a expiditor and am just confused when people just put more if I should paste the follow up question the last guide has sent or what I shoudl do?

Yeah I made Top Guide for 2 weeks in a row. I am very excited. I am new to this whole thing. I have been getting alot of questions wanting to know spreads for football games. Where can you find this? I have been lucky so far but would like to have a bookmark for a good site. Thanks

Sorry if this has been asked before (this thread is so long, hard to go through it all). I finally got an 'invitation' to take the guide test, took it and passed, it said I am a Guide/Specialist. Filled out the W-9. Last night I did the 10 questions in the simulator test. Now how do I know when I actually can start as an active guide? Because I logged on this morning to see if anything had changed on the screen (like telling me that I was officially a guide now) and it instantly gave me a question. I didn't know if it was giving me the simulator test again, so I just answered the one question then logged out. Any insights?

you might log back on and check your earnings to see if you got paid for that question. if you did, you're good to go!

Momof1Princess - Same thing with me. But I think we have to wait to find out if we passed the 10 questions to become an actual guide. Not sure why they make you fill out the W9 first. That seems wrong to me.

I'm waiting to hear too because I just finished the 10 questions today for the simulator test.

Still very unsure about this whole ChaCha thing.

Anyone else have problems with ChaCha? I logged in about 45 minutes ago and I haven't gotten a question yet! Quite frustrating. I already did over 300 searches this week, but I was hoping to make some more $ and take the rest of the night and tomorrow off.

i logged on about 3:35 pm. CDT and it was B2B until about 3:50 pm., then it went down and i haven't gotten a query since. the last one i got didn't credit either.

I am trying to get on as an Expeditor but when I go to take the test, my computer will not download the taskbar. Anyone else have that trouble? I've sent a email to ChaCha but haven't heard back from them.

yep, site's down. my universe crashed completely and i couldn't log back in. i finally got logged back in, but still no queries.
