It has been very querky all day! I just got one after about an hour. I still need another 50 for tonight's guaranteed $12. It is taking forever!

Just got accepted as a guide, but am really questioning if I can actually make any money? Seems like there is a lot of just sitting and waiting for questions to pop up?

How many queries are you guys actually able to do in a week? Just doesn't seem busy enough to make money?

I try to do 50-60 per day, which comes out to about $300/month. I'm usually on the internet during the day anyways so I just do it in between reading my email and the disboards.

I just wanted to say that I've been doing ChaCha for 2.5 weeks now and I've made $267 so far. Granted, I'm on a lot. I'm an internet junkie so that might be why but there's money to be made on ChaCha. I've also made Top Guide from the get-go. You defintiely wanna go for TG!

In order to make Top Guide, you have to have done at least 200 queries and had an accuracy rate of 95% or greater. Really, I don't think it's very hard to get the 200 queries but maybe that's just me since I'm addicted to the internet.

Man, I'm so tired of all the technical issues they have been having. I'm hardly getting queries, and half the time when I do they time out automatically.

Just in the last hour I've had 3 searches I've done that aren't showing in my history and I wasn't paid for them too. There's a thread about it on their forum too. You can be we'll never see that money!

I received an invitation to be a ChaCha guide. So, I started the first part of the test, then I kept getting an error page. I sent an email, we'll see what happens next. I didn't get too upset because I had read all ya'lls problems.

I just completed the registration process with no problems. I can't wait to try it out and see how this will really work - or not.

I've had so many problems in the past few days. When I click on "search for answer", the window that pops up times out without even loading. Also, I got some email feedback on citation, with the answers not even matching the questions that were asked. When I do get a chance to answer a question, it's been averaging about 8 minutes due to the lag.

I tried the readiness test today & it took me an hour to get 6 questions...had to log off for dinner. I guess I'll have to try for the test another day. Sounded like a lot of people were having issues this weekend w/the test (according to the chacha fourms).

I finally got through all 3 test and did 10+ questions. So now do I just wait to see if I'm "official" ? I'm guessing they'll send me an email, but when?

Good news! Did you take the 10 questions today? How long did it take you? Yesterday was painful!!

I believe the site says you'll receive an email 2-4 days after you take the test, but I think I've read others have heard back in 24 hours. Guess it just depends on how many have taken it!

I hope someone can help me. I didn't pass the guide test about 3 weeks ago well out of the blue yesterday I got an email from ChaCha saying there was a problem with the "sms" test and I was being given a chance to retake it. Well I never studied the stuff that they will ask me, any ideas how I can get to the handbook? Weird. My account has been suspended for quite awhile-I was offered to be an expeditor and could not get on to take that test. Any help will be appreciated.

Log in, and immediately set yourself to away. (Hope you don't get a query 1st). In the upper right hand of your screen will be a link to the Knowledgebase. Then you can search in there for the handbook.

I read on their forum board that someone signed in as if they were taking questions ( in the universe). Then they clicked on profile and started picking interest, and they started getting questions. I tried it, and I started getting questions. I've done about 18 as of last night. Now I'm just waiting to see if I passed.

Yes, yopu should pickyour keywords right away it really helps you get questions. I really haven't had any of the problems everyone else is having granted I didn't work either of the last 2 weekends just weekdays.

For whoever asked about the money, The way I look at ChaCha is this: Its not going to pay my bills, I consider it "fun" money. We use it for any extras that we'd like ($100 goes up for our 2009 Disney Trip) andything over that I spend other stuff like school clothes, halloween costumes, school picture, etc.

If you don't go in thinking it will pay your bills you should be fine. Some people do work enough to pay their bills but I am only on 4-6 hours a day 5 days a week and I make around $100-150 a week. More if I work on the weekend.
