OT: ChaCha

When i get a question that asks for my name, i reply: "My name is ChaCha, and I'm here 24/7 to answer your questions!". I've never gotten QC'd for it. Hope this helps someone.

So, how is everyone doing? I have been doing it about 2.5 weeks and I'm at $330. I was hoping for more but this past week has really been hectic. I'm hoping to be close to $400 by Tuesday on my 3 week mark.

WHEN is pay day? I heard from someone it might be the 15th of each month.... If that is true, If I work on the 14th, do I get paid for that time the very next day? Or is there a cut-off day for each pay period?

Last month, I got paid on July 18th. I was paid for all of the work I did until sometime on the morning of the 17th. So, we'll see what happens this month. I haven't been doing ChaCha all that much since it keeps shutting down on me, but I have surpassed the $100 mark so I know I will be getting paid.

There's actually no reason not to give them your name because all they have to do to find out is click the short url and it comes up with your guide name anyway.

Nobody's ever asked my name, but I'd give it.

As for saying you're ChaCha, check out the forum for that. I honestly can't remember if it was an employee saying it, but someone was saying you shouldn't give your name as ChaCha because we're *human* guides. But again, I'm not totally certain about that because I only half paid attention to it.

Thanks! The times varies. I missed two days during the 3 week period. During the week I try to ChaCha for a least an hour before work. After work, after dinner and after the kids are in bed, I try to do it at least two hours. On the weekends I do an average of 6 to 8 hours but that is not straight. Its here and there. If I sign in and it takes me more than 3 minutes between my first three questions I sign out. The best way to make quick money is during the busiest hours! Good luck to all!

How does this work? I applied and now they said they would review the application and that's it. I had gotten an email from them to complete a registration process so I clicked on it and then it said it was no longer valid. Can any of you help? I really would like to do this. Thank you!

I think the system must be down. I am bummed b.c hubby is out of town so I could ChaCha forever tonight! This happened a few weeks ago and if you can hold out for it to come back on - the questions will be flying b/c so many guides will give up and there will be a huge backup but you will get mad IS questions about taking so long!

It bothers me they had time to post a blog but not put up a notice about the problems.

For those of you that went with the debit card option to get paid. How long did it take for you to get the card.

Also how long did it take for it to show you registered for a payment option?

I filled out the online form and faxed the signature paper but it still says I haven't picked a method.

It probably took two weeks before I had a card and was ready to transfer the money. I faxed in the paperwork and it seemed to take forever. But once you do get your card and pin #, it takes no time at all to transfer your money through the "pay me now" option.

Is anyone else having problems with the system?
I have gotten some blaster questions-I think they may be testing the "matching" but I have had tech issues with 2 out of 5 saying 'I'm not in a search' when I try to link the source site, and 3 of the 5 not showing the questions/just the answers in recent history-the links in the RH don't work either.

I hate that because I KNEW the answers and they were real questions, not the who is joe.....ones.

Oh well.

I was getting 3-hour old questions this morning one after the other....weird. Then it slowed down. I only had the system mess up once-and on a tip from ChaCha I opened up a whole new browser to do my search and all my buttons were there and working
