People accepted as a guide after a certain date (can't remember what it was) are considered apprentices and receive .15 per question. In order to receive .20, you have to answer 1000 questions, be a guide for 3 months and have an accuracy score of around 94%.

I was accepted as a guide after the date, but it was shown that I passed my test before then, so I automatically am receiving .20/question.

OHHHHHH... I see. I was accepted as a guide and started working on July 16th... the day before the "new" way went into effect.

Your sim test questions are counted in your 103...so you must have done 16 sim test questions. You don't get paid for those.

"1000 needed"... is that your goal or is there something I am missing. Do we get a bonus when we hit 1000?

I did 14 on SIM, actually, I have searches that show up on the summary that has the smilies but doesn't show on the summary attached to the payment link weird, huh?

BTW-I wanted to say that I really appreciate this thread ya'll have been so helpful, informative and understanding. It really is nice to have a place to "talk".

I plan to take the simulator test tonight. Can anyone give me some advice? Are there any difficult questions? How much time do I get for each question? I heard this is the part of the test a lot of people fail, so I'm kinda worried.

Do you suggest using their search engine or using google?

If you studied your materials you should have no problem at all. A few of my SIM questions were pretty darn hard but I got through it ok. Others were easy so I think the times balanced each other out. I had a lot of problems that day with really slow loading pages, etc so I e-mailed them right after my test to let them know and I was accepted. Try to do each question under 3 minutes. I hardly ever need to use another search engine, but lots of people open up Google anyway. Use whatever is comfortable for you.

I won the drawing for top guides last week! And here I was wondering if they would fire me for not giving good enough answers, and it said I had 100% accuracy!
BUT, I haven't seen the money. It said it would be deposited in a couple of days but it hasn't yet. I'm kind of wondering if I actually will see the money?

One person asked "can I lick your toes". I said "sure...I just ran 4 miles though". Another asked me "how many grains of sand are there on earth"...I said "hold please while I go count them"... I mean COME ON some of the questions are soooo dumb, but they are quick money.

I got a question that asked if I would do something that was disgusting. I had never even heard the term before. I reported them for abuse. I later thought I should have said, "Yes, but I am a 78 year-old grandmother." But I'm glad I reported because they had asked a bunch of other crude questions.

I had a question that asked, "am I big," Well - it was more graphic. My answer: I'm guessing you are not since you can't see yourself. A magnifying glass may help you.

I wish that there was a "report back" policy that goes through the phone company records for cases like this. Basically someone needs to tell his Momma on that boy!

I'd tell him that sex with the 10 year old would result in death-his, by the girls father!

I'm a chacha newbie, and just became a guide today. Please forgive me if these questions have been answered before, as I didn't see them with reading this thread yet.

1. Is payment method selection the last phase of signing up? I did this and then questions started popping up for me.
2. Since I began answering questions, I went to see earnings. It is all 0s. Will this update later, or are these some kind of practice questions?

The questions I did were fun and mostly sports related. Thanks for letting me know of this site!!!

If parents were smart they would look thru their kids phones and see what they have been texting. Not every kid can be so sneaky to think to delete their text history after every obscene text!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My daughter is 10!!!!!! I would have been such a smart a$$ back to this kid, I wouldn't have cared if I got in trouble with ChaCha! I would have told him that his phone number comes up and that his phone number was linked to his parents and they were going to be getting a call from the "abuse" task force for ChaCha....total bull, but I would hope it would scare him... ewwww yuck yuck yuck... looks like I will be having another chat with my daughter regarding her "personal" space.

I have been a ChaCha guide now for a whopping 5 days! and have almost hit the $100 mark. Question, I just signed up tonight for the debit card and the main page told me to copy my id off the address line, well I do that and the bank page never asks for it! Why did I need to find it if it was never asked for? Second question, has anyone received their debit card and did a pay me now yet? How fast does the money get deposited on the card? Thanks ahead of time
