Sheesh! What a question! I did some googling (not using Search Universe b/c often times if I can't find it in SU I can in google) and I found this:

I found it by googling exactly this: average woman "79 times" "Joyce Brothers"

That took a good 15 minutes of searching and even on that page I had to search for "79 times"

That web site was THE ONLY thing google pulled up with that search and I didn't see it in other searches trying to find that random fact.

I would be questioning how reasonable that is for a simulator question!

See? Pure Quackery. I spent so much freaking time on that stinking question - and in addition to my technical blah-blah in the very beginning, Im sure thats what gave me the axe.

If I had simulator questions like that, I'd probably not be doing it either!! So, sorry, Cathryn! Doesn't seem fair. Mine weren't as easy as the actual questions I get on a daily basis, but they weren't like that!!

And to Mom2micayla, I got the email too & it's on the dashboard. New guides will make $.15/question until they pass certain requirements. Seems reasonable..they'd want you to complete a training period before giving you a "raise" so to speak. But I am glad to not be affected!!

Did you see the news on there now?

They're cutting the pay to $.15 per question for NEW guides, starting July 17th!You don't get the 20-cents until you've served for 30 days, or 1,000 questions.

But this shouldn't affect anyone who is already "on board" before then!

"...Any Guide who has passed the Simulator test and who has been activated as a full-fledged Guide into the ChaCha system by July 17th will not be affected by this change...."

So, I guess if you're thinking of signing up, better do it QUICK if you want to get the full $.20!

This is my first month and I'm right at $350.00 for 1 month! I am so happy with this.

BTW~ If anyone wants to be on my team, I'll do everything I can to help you w/ advice on the test, searches, keywords, etc.

I just took the Simulator test. I'm not sure how well I did. I answered the questions okay, but I think I took too long. I was closer to 4 minutes with each question, and I know it is supposed to be under 3. I am really, really hoping to get this, or else I have to actually get a 2nd job.

I thought you had to have a user name and password to start the registration process? Didn't you get a link in your invitation to be a ChaCha guide? Then you should have gotten an e-mail that said Welcome to ChaCha. That will have your user name and link to get your password if you forgot it.

Tbh I think it is more about right answers. I took forever to answer on my simulator and I was shocked when I heard I passed. Good luck.

I am sorry you didn't make it. I would e-mail them. I was having MASSIVE tech issues when I took the test and I e-mailed them as soon as I was done. I got an e-mail back saying they would not take that into account and the next day I got my acceptance letter! You should e-mail them for sure!
I have not been able to work much at all with moving and stuff and I am ready to get going again!!! My goal is to use that money to pay off our credit cards. Every little bit helps!
Oh, and I searched the Dr. Joyce thing too and came up with nothing. Totally unfair Q if you ask me!

Okay, I have had 2 or 3 people ask me why their question isn't answered- but when I look in the history, there isn't anything missing an answer! FYI. If you're having trouble getting on ChaCha and staying on, there's a post in the Forum there stating this problem is being worked on.

I still can't get on. I was just going to finish up a few more questions so that I didn't have any "cents" hanging out there (guess I like things neat and orderly), but not sure that will happen.
