I can't log in either now. I had a message earlier saying they were doing some work between 5 and 5:15 pm est. But that was a while ago...Kids are gone and was hoping to pick up some extra bucks

I will sometimes get creative with the links for conversational type stuff, but most of the time i just use chacha.com.

wow.. how long did it take to get to 500.00?

it took me about 3 1/2 weeks. i work 4-5 hours a day, depending on how slow it is, and i make $15-$25 a day. i'm hoping by the time my DD starts school on august 11th, i'll have enough money to buy her school supplies, shoes and clothes.

btw...when i hit the pay me now button this morning, my account transfer was almost immediate! NOW i just have to figure out how to do a balance check at an ATM so i can activate my debit card! wish me luck!

I saw on the ChaCha forums that they were supposed to be re-booting servers at 5 pm, but an IT mod posted that something happened and not all the servers were re-booted at that time. They are working on it so it's resolved soon, but no word on when that'll be.

I'm waiting (im)patiently!

I know you can't abort any questions just because you don't want to answer them. But, sometimes I feel as though I need more guidance.

They have actually said if you are offended by a question you can use the abort button. There are several mentions of it on the forums, with a few links back to KB. I'm sure they keep an eye on how often abort is used but they are giving that "out" if need be.

Seriously...someone PLEASE tell me the system doesn't always run like it is tonight! It is SOOOOO slow that I have only made $3.60 in 4 1/2 hours and I am not a slow searcher. The system takes FOREVER to load the question and then 1/2 the time it is kicking me out in the middle of answering it. I know its not my computer because it is fast everywhere else. ARRRRR... this is very frustrating for my first night of ChaChaing!

Cinerbelle- they did an upgrade and are now having some server issues. My personal opinion is that they got alot busier than they expected alot quicker than they expected and they are dealing with it the best they can. Have some patience. It usually isn't this bad.

I have been having problems all evening. When it finally logs me in, after minutes of trying, it will kick me out right in the middle of me typing in an answer.

Now, it wont even let me log in. ugh.

I should have waited to take the Fit Test for Guide registration. I was in the middle of taking the test and it kept timing out and giving me a proxy server error. When I finally managed to get through the test, I clicked done and it gave me ANOTHER error. So I sent them a message through the contact link. I'm hoping this doesn't screw up my chances of becoming a guide.

I think if you sent feedback, it's good. I had errors and problems all over the place when I took my sim test, so I simply sent feedback about it and it didn't seem to count against me at all.

I used my card for the first time yesterday. I just happened to luck into an ATM that didn't charge to check my balance! Then I spent about $20 total. I kept thinking, "OMG, that was 100 searches!!"

I opted for Pay Me Monthly and my account was zeroed out yesterday. Checked my bank today and the deposit is there!! Yippee!! Now I want to make more next month so I will be continuously ChaCha-ing!!!

Last night the system went pretty fast for me - I was able to make twice as much money in half the time!

I have decided the conversational and sex questions are my favorite - I actually made those keywords b/c it is so easy to click on the definition site they have in the quick links and pop in the definition. I am always REALLY clinical in my answers. Anytime they ask what I like my standard answer is I prefer to ChaCha! I can answer those questions quickly and under two minutes each which really ups my earnings and I never have to wait for questions!

I wonder if we would be allowed to make a thread that we keep updated with ChaCha guide names in the first post and details so that we can help others sign on and it would give us all the opportunity to build our teams...what do you guys think? We could also have good answer links in there and quick comebacks.
