If anyone is doing Pay Me Now with ChaCha...

There is apparently a glitch somewhere in the system. Several people have reported requesting an "instant" transfer and the money has not shown up in the bank.

Including me! I hit $200 today and decided I would transfer every $200. I'm sure it'll be resolved - it seems the bank and ChaCha are both working on it. Just a word of warning in case anyone is trying to transfer money today!

Thanks for the warning! I'm still waiting for my debit card in the mail, but the Pay Me Now button is back, so I guess they got the bank info.

The Text Session Video does not play for me. The categories and interests gives me sound, but no video. The other training videos are working. Is it me or them? How critical is it for me to see the text session video before I do the simulator?

The thing is, it shows you step by step how to do a session. You could look in the forum for a walkthrough maybe, but you definitely want to do a walkthrough first so you don't get lost and take too much time on the simulator. I tried to keep all of my simulator questions under 3 minutes.

I just checked the video and it's working for me. Have you tried clearing your private data? I've found that you need to do that a lot more frequently when you're working with ChaCha. Also, which version of Firefox are you using? I don't know if that makes a difference.

If clearing your data doesn't work, you should send something in to feedback. They take about a day to get back to you, but they will definitely try to help.

I'm a new guide. Anyway, I've been off and on for nearly 3 hours tonight and I've only gotten 4 queries. Is that normal? By the way other people were talking, I expected it to be much busier! I'm getting kind of bored surfing the net waiting on a query.

Do you have plenty of keywords (or categories - whatever they are now) in your profile?

I started getting more queries when I entered more keywords. I also think you start getting more as you get more experienced (just my theory though!). I was very slow my first couple of days, but then it started picking up.

You also might try logging out and logging back in - sometimes it helps. It has been a little slow tonight but I am still doing about $5 an hour (which is fairly typical for me).

Try different times of day too. I find arond 9pm or so my time (Arizona) things are really busy. One query after another. And adding keywords too! Good luck.

But apparently writing about it on here made it get busy all the sudden. I've gotten several queries right after posting.

I was accepted this afternoon and did $11 worth in about 3 hours. I'm still kinda slow. Some just throw me for a minute or two. It was busy both times I logged on: 5 - 6:15 and then 9:45 - 11:30. I'll have to try mornings and see how they go. I'd be happy if I could do about $10 per day. That would be about $800 in Disney money I didn't have before. Of course when school starts back up that may dwindle so I'm shooting for $500. Think that's doable in 3 months?

Just be creative. If they say thank you to a previous answer, look up the etymology for thank you, or an etiquette page. If they ask "Does Jimmy like me?" look up a relationship page or magic 8 ball page. Try to take anything from their comments and do a search for it. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy.

Oh, and if they put a really weird phrase that you just don't get, make sure to put it into google! Sometimes they'll throw movie or song quotes at you and it's fun to quote back!

I got my pin 2-3 business days after my ATM card - it seems like I got everything from the bank in about a 1 week span. Maybe they just got a little back-logged - I'd think you'd get it by Monday.

For the other poster who was wondering about conversation-type texts, I usually try to figure out what they've been talking about, or I look up one of the words they used - sometimes it is a relationship advice site. I usually give a short response to their statement & ask if they have any more questions. HTH!

I'm using the 2.0 version of Firefox b/c others here said the 3.0 version wasn't working. But the chacha website says it is compatible with the 3.0 version.

Anybody use their ATM card yet? I just received my ATM and PIN # and yesterday used "pay me now" to transfer money to the ATM card. Today I tried to go to an ATM to take some of the money out and it wouldn't let me. ATM said "please contact your financial institution." Ugh..
