i've d'l firefox 2.0 and adobe flash player and i STILL can't see the videos i need to watch before the simulator test! does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Did you try watching the videos through Internet Explorer? I had gone through all the training stuff, videos included, in IE and didn't use FireFox until it was time to take the simulator test.

ETA - I saw you did try them in IE - in that case, I don't know. Maybe uninstall/re-install QuickTime or update it? The movies use Quicktime - the Adobe Flash Player is for other stuff.

Mine all say great too and I only have 5 of the 17 (did extra by mistake) listed. They also "greated" the two that I did very basic info on.

thanks! i uninstalled QT then reinstalled the latest version-now the box where the video plays is green, LMBO! sound is still working though. i just can't win!

I put in words like "score" for sports, "define" for words, "eat" for pets. Just things I thought lots of people would ask.

I was curious about those smiley face ratings so looked them up in the forums and according to one of the mods they're a holdover from an earlier version, back when guides did "live" searches and actually chatted with a customer. The customer could rate them after the search was done. Kind of burst my bubble as I was liking all the "great!" smileys...

Okay didn't look into the payment options too close, but do they send you a debit card and then add to payments to that card, or do they send you a different debit card each time? Is there anyway you can get cash off that card?

yes, you get one debit card and reload that each time you want your money. I haven't tried to get cash, but I assume you should be able to at an ATM because you get a PIN, but it will cost you additional fees.

So then do you just keep the money on there to save, or are you using the debit card for payment(like a visa/MC)?

From my understanding you can use it like a debit card. I wouldn't keep a lot of money there though because it doesn't earn any interest. From what I've read on the forums many people hook it into their PayPal account and then get a PayPal debit card. Either that or you can pull the cash from the card and just deposit it in your account. I think the monthly option is better if you intend on earning a lot of money. There doesn't seem to be any fees involved with that. There *is* a $2 fee each time you click on the "Pay Me Now" button that you use with the debit card. There are threads on the forum that talk about all of this stuff if you're already a Guide or are waiting to hear about your tests.
