Yeah it's strange. I went on at 6. Was really slow for 15 mins. Then started getting them more regularly. About 8 it started kicking me out of them. Obviously big problems there. What i don't get is, there have been problems all week. They can't figure it out in a week? That's a bit of time. Now it's the weekend. Who's working on it over the weekend?

I don't think there is anything to figure out, I have a feeling it is the 20 limit and they are just blaming the system. I hope I am wrong, but I think it is a BS excuse.

I finally had questions about 1 minute apart until 8:30, then nothing since!

I was B2B earlier tonight, maybe around 7 I think. Then firefox / mozilla stopped working and booted me off. Took a break, a long one, signed back on about 20 min. ago and .... nothing!

I work 7 - 4:30 during the day now so I was hoping to make my 200 in the evenings and weekends. Yeah, not at this rate.

I even made TG, so much for that if I can't get any queries.

Blame me. I'm a jinx. Everything I join ends up coming to a screeching halt withn a few weeks of me signing up.

I don't know / care / understand what the official line is about the 20 Q limit. What's the general opinion on that? Are they not making enough money? Selling the company off?

apparently, at the end of last month, they ran out of bandwidth and the system crashed. in their infinite wisdom, the chacha ptb decided to limit those who were "abusing" chacha (i.e. texting silly questions constantly) to 20 questions a month....yeah, look where it's gotten us all.

Granted I'm not a business major or a computer whiz but couldn't the ptb purchase more bandwidth? I mean face it, none of are going to retire wealthy from ChaCha so with the advertising they do isn't there a profit to expand from?

And kids texting in silly questions, do they not realize how big a market teenagers are?

This is the conspiracy therorist in me, but does anybody else find it "odd" that no sooner do the forums go down, a planned event yes, but then we aren't getting questions? How far in advance was it announced that the forums were going down?

the message that the forum was going down went up right before it went down at 6pm ET. i guess they got tired of everyone complaining about the specialist questions not working...

i agree, you'd think they'd just purchase more bandwidth instead of alienating such a huge customer base, but what do i know?

I am an expiditer and I am actually getting some questions tonight, and it is loading faster...they aren't back to back, but pretty close to it..so there are questions out there, and I am sending probably 80% of them on..don't know where they are going?

are you sure it wasn't an autoanswer? hard to believe we've all been sitting here for over an hour with nothing while others are getting queries.

Did you try clearing your cache? I did that and since 5:30 central it has been good, I have been off and on but have over 120
