OT: car rental deals within Canada?

I'm flying to Victoria BC next week to visit family, and would like to have a rental car, though it's not strictly necessary. The cheapest I can find for 4 days is about $235, taxes in. Ouch! Budget has the biggest share of the market out there, and I expected better of them, but they are all very close in price. I tried Budget, Dollar, Alamo, National, and expedia.ca and travelocity.ca. Any other ideas? Thanks...
