OT Can anyone recommend a hotel in Riviera Maya?

Iberostar Maya is our families all time favorite all-inclusive in Mexico (We go every year in May). Lots of activities for all ages, huge pools, just an all around great place to go!

We really like the Iberostar resorts and find them to be very family friendly. We've stayed at several, in a couple of differnt locations and have never been disappointed. Our favorite is the one in Punta Cana. Its one of my kids favorite vacations. There's a lot to do.

Ditto..Iberostar Quextal in Playa Del Carmen..fly into Cancun...all inclusive.

All inclusive resorts: Either Grand Palladium or Occidental Grand Xcaret. The other resort we like that is not all inclusive is Grand Mayan Riviera Maya. For more info and pics you can check out tripadvisor.com. Have a wonderful trip. We are counting down the days until June for our summer trip to the Grand Mayan.. can't wait to have a pina colada by the pool:)

We stayed at the Azul. Very nice, good food. WONDERFUL spa. Only complaint was the kids club.

We've had two sets of friends to the Barcelo and both recommended it. I think that is a good value.

may I recommend www.playa.info ? It's my second favorite board.

And the food in Playa is so good and cheap it would be really hard for me to justify an AI but I understand the convenience factor. If you want to consider a condo, there are many to choose from. I've used vrbo with luck in 2010.

There's a sub-forum on playa devoted entirely to all inclusives.

Or if you want to go South www.locogringo.com.

We stayed in a Villa down in Akumal one year. Didn't have the all inclusive - we had to buy our own rum and cook dinner (nachos, spaghetti - nothing big or fancy) - but the private villa was awesome.
