OT - Anyone in Brooklin, ON?

Just bought our first home in Brooklin, Ontario... it is a tiny community outside of the GTA... but you never know, is anyone on these boards living there?????

We drive thru Brooklin on our way to Brancroft to avoid high traffic times on the highways. It's lovely! Congrats! Blessings, Sandra

We don't live there but know exactly where it is. We're on the west side of Toronto but have friends that live in Ajax and Courtice -- both of which are very close to you. I've heard Brooklin is really nice -- congrats on your new home!

I will be driving through there tonight - I ride at a stable up by Port Perry so drive thorugh Brooklyn twice a week! Congrats on the new home!

WOw ...small world.
I now live in Port Hope but lived my whole 34 other years in Whitby....which Brooklin is part of. Spent many early mornings at the arena there. Luther Vipond was my grandfathers best friend. My father was the fire chief in whitby for many years and retired 5 years ago. My mothers parents were even originally from Whitby/brooklin ....
Brooklin has grown so much from 20 years ago it's nuts.
Still feels like home.

I'm in Port Hope too. Seven years ago my DH and I had narrowed it down to buying a home in either Brooklyn or Port Hope. He got a job out here and that made our decision.

I'm sure you'll love it there.

Hey we moved to Port Hope 7 years ago from Whitby!!!
Small world eh.....
DIdn't know there was any other disney addicts in port hope.....
a day doesn't go by that the kids ...esp. son aged 9, doesnt talk about our next trip!! He's addicted too.
My husband works in Port Hope also....that's why we're here.
