I just think - hey - they are Harvard Grads - what do they need with a million bucks - plus - they are annoying - come on those markers werent even close to the real deal. I was really hoping they might get to Bosnia before they realized they were lost.

The brother is the one that is just too much. I was quietly hoping that they would be out this week...no such luck. I don't think its about the money as much as showing the world that they are smart enough to get through every leg, and stay on top. Egos..kind of strut their stuff.

In a way, I was somewhat rooting for them to pull it together. Being a little sister, myself, I wanted her to finally dig in and stand up a little more. I thought it was good that he finally bought a clue and realized he needed to rely on her judgement more.

I think this season, it's anybody's race. I'm looking forward to the excitement ahead!!!

I guess to me the fact they graduated from Harvard isn't a factor. If they are the best team and win, they deserve the money. I like the sister. It's the brother's controlling personality that's offputting.

I like their team, but he needs to learn to share the decision making if they are going to make it. None of these teams have really annoyed me like some in the past, but then again we are only a few episodes in! :lmao:

I want to see an odd team with this year - not just the youngest or most fit - or another brother and sister like last year. Im really pulling for Mom and Son. I loved the year when Uchenna and Joyce won.

I agree, none of the teams have really annoyed me just yet. I am really liking the mother and son team but they seem to run into a bit of trouble this week. Who knows because of the editing for previews- but I think everything is still wide open.

I missed last weeks show, so didn't see the brother go over the top controlling. Like others have said, there are no teams that annoy me so much that I hope they come in last. My top faves right now are the brother/sister, the mother/son and the little men.

:thumbsup2 I think there is hope that he learned his lesson because he did have a meltdown. If he didn't have the meltdown, I don't think he would have "gotten" it.

I'm glad the Bickersons were off after the first leg...they would have really annoyed me. :happytv:

I don't have strong faves right now but if I had to choose I'm pulling for the mother/son and stuntmen. popcorn::

cheers,
:flower3:

Where they went to college has no bearing on me wanting them to win. I'm not sure why it would for anybody. I like the sister. The brother is a bit pigheaded. If they win the race, good for them.

I'm cheering for the Father/Son team.

My husband says the same thing - I guess I just find them annoying - like they havent already had significant achievements in their life - they need to add winners of amazing race to their CV. Im always rooting for the underdog I guess.

You know you can watch online. I like to do this with my reality shows.

Thank you. I actually tried to do that earlier today. For some reason, not sure if it was my computer or the site, the connection was really bad. It would stall for a second or two every couple of minutes, then self-start, but about 30 minutes in, it simply stopped! Yikes! I started it over, but had no success in moving it up to where I had left off. :confused3 At least I still got to see a bit of the show and I have to say it lowered my opinion of the lawyer brother/sister team. She's fine, but he seems to pretty arrogant and full of himself. I didn't see the last part, so I have to withhold total judgement. :rotfl:

The Broha needs to learn to let the sister have a say. I LOVE teh mother and son. I was sad to see the older couple go.

Actually the brother /sister lawyer team is the one I hope wins. He is definitely a control freak but maybe the little hike through the woods taught him a lesson. I also wonder if the show is edited in a way to make him look worse than he is. They can make anyone look more or less sympathetic in the editing room.

I think you are absolutely right, the show is edited to make it interesting. So some teams they can make the 'good' teams, by only showing positive clips, and they can make the 'disliked' teams by showing their most negative moments.
I can only imagine the sleep deprivation, lack of eating regularly, constant change of time zones, stress of wanting to win, not be send home......it's amazing their aren't even more melt downs.

I agree. I spent a couple of weeks biking and wandering through Italy and it got frustrating at times. I can only imagine how much more stressful it would be with a million dollars at stake. Plus having two younger brothers I know the older brother would come out at some point in me in their situation.

My son spent his junior year at the University of Exeter in England and he toured Europe for a month over Holiday Break. 2 weeks of that was spent in Italy, staying in youth hostels and traveling by rail. He's 33 now, so that was years ago.
