OT-A prayer for Alison-UPDATE

I know some other boards may be more appropriate for this, but I've considered this my "home board" of all the DisBoards.
Anyway, my 8 yr. old DD is having surgery Tuesday morning to remove a tumor (we believe is benign) from her hip, and I would greatly appreciate the extra prayers for her to have a safe surgery and quick recovery!

We're home from the hospital!! Alison is doing well and recovering on the couch with remote in hand! The tumor had grown (from 1 cm to 2 cms since Aug.), but they decided to go ahead with the procedure. It's been removed, and they believe it is benigh (so do I!!). She should be fine within a few days!

Hope your little girl's surgery goes perfectly. I know this can be scary, but surgeons are SO well trained these days. I'm wishing your family ALL the best! Please let us know how it goes, she'll definitely be in my thoughts until it's over.
