About 18 months ago DH bought his first dSLR camera, and now he has 3. My biggest concern (besides the obvious fact that the cameras are a giant money sucking pit) is that installing photo software will eat all the memory on my desktop.

My laptop doesn't have much memory to start with - we just use it to dump the memory cards when we are at WDW and then we move the images when we get home.

This photography stuff is a slippery slope.

Are you limited on space on your desktop? Shouldn't be too much of a problem with most programs. Take a look at Picasa, which won't take up much space and it's free.

I'll try working up some more examples over the next few days. Oh, anyone not wanting to mess with making their own and wants a full size for whatever reason (desktop) just PM me with your email and I'll send you one or some.

Hope you enjoy playing around with it. We've always wanted to frame a bunch of our favorite shots, but they weren't looking very professional, so I think this technique does that. It can take an average photo and make it something completely different.

We have one of those wall ledges that's about 6-7 feet long and we're framing about 8 of them, in all different shapes/sizes/styles of frames and resting them on this ledge. Should look great when we're done.

Now I can't wait to go on our trip in September to take more shots to create more, especially since Club 33 shots will be taken. Woohoo!

Yeah! I've got a couple of the wedding pix I'd love to see this way, but there is no way I could do it!

If you sort of randomize (tatter) the edges of the image - and then mat image to show that edge is quite nice.
