Orlando weather in late September?

Can some of you veterans elaborate on what to expect from the weather for the September event? A little hot, very hot, steaming hot, "fry an egg on the sidewalk" hot? Or, is it better than I'm imagining?

Sharon, glad to read you will be going to the September pin event . Bring summer clothes! I agree it will be hot & humid. I was at WDW one time in mid-September & sweated a lot! HAVE FUN!!

Oh this sounds lovely. The first time in 10 1/2 years that I will be going somewhere without a child (and spouse!) and it will be hot, wet, and humid. Can someone tell me why I'm doing this again?

I can't wait, finally comfortable weather. It's hot, and humid, and rains every day for 2 hours. sounds like my ideal.

Bring shorts, short sleeves and sleevless. And a sweater for the evenings when we go out to the Adventurer's club to see Jeff do the tiki god dance. One of those foldable ponchos works best, but at the last pin event we only left the Millenium building to do the map and that can be done in about an hour.
The only thing you have to make sure you bring is PINS and LOTS OF MONEY. Peggie

With as nuts as our weather has been lately, it is anyones guess as to what the weather will be like, and this is from someone who lives here year round..it couldn't possible get any hotter or humid here then it is right now. When I woke up today, I had steam on my windows from the heat and humidity outside, and my airconditioning inside..looked like the windows on a winter morning.. Maybe we will liven things up a bit w/ a hurricane, as that is right around our liveliest time...so come prepared for anything..except snow, I really don't think we will have snow..but nothing is written in stone...

My visit in late September several years ago, it was 98+ degrees almost everyday! Very hot and humid.

Oy. I'm not good with heat. I'll be the one swathing myself in SPF 50 sunblock every hour. Or maybe I'll just buy some of that lime green zinc oxide and smear it all over my body...at least I'll look like a true DISser!!

I can already sense that I will have a new tag from the tag fairy when I return....

Sharon, you are doing this so you can stand in line after line to finally get pins ! Just keeping telling yourself that your are on vacation!
