Orlando transport help!

Hello again all!

Just a quick question, I've ruled out booking a hire car for our 8 nights at Saratoga Springs and will be using Disbey transport. But we do want to do one day at sea world, and another day at universal (mostly for Harry Potter).

Would it be worth booking a car for those two days, getting the bus or getting a taxi?! Can anyone offer any advice and prices on those options? Also howling would the bus be compared to driving/taxi?

Seaworld is very easy and very quick to get to by the 50 lynx bus, it drops you outside the carpark and you just walk across it, many a brit does this. You can pick this up at the TTC or just outside DTD outside the Hilton hotel. (come out of DTD by the big toy shop, turn right to the crossing, cross over and turn right and the bus stop is right there, it is literally right across the road. There will be a few people waiting) Its mega cheap also at $2 per adult each way. Universal on the other hand is not so quick via the bus (you would have to transfer as well) and I would either go by taxi or hire a car. There is another way though and that is the Mears shuttle to Universal. They pick up everyday from your hotel but you do need to make a reservation which they will prob do for in the hotel. I think its about $19 per person return..may be wrong on that fig but it sort of springs to mind.

As above, it's easy to get to Seaworld, plus using the bus you would also save on the $15 parking charge.

For getting to Universal, you can check the approx cost of a taxi using the Mears Taxi-Fare Calculator here - a quick check for a journey from MK to Universal is around $37 each way.
